THEME OF THE SEMINAR
The purpose of the seminar is to identify critical needs and opportunities to apply the
concepts of recent Confocal Microscopy techniques to diagnosis the disease in animals. This
seminar provides an excellent opportunity for researchers and leading personals to gather the
advance information in the field of research technique of Confocal CLSM 710 Microscopy in
animal disease diagnosis. Recent advances in Molecular biology, Biotechnology and Microscopic
applications to address global health challenges through exceptional scientific collaborations that
can generate truly innovative strategies. To connecting those who are currently engaged in
innovative molecular biology and microscopy research with animal health, understand the real
world challenges facing animal disease diagnosis and disease management health.

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

Alagappa University has emerged from the galaxy of institutions initially founded by the
great Philanthropist and Educationist Dr. RM Alagappa Chettiyar. This University accredited by
NAAC with “A” grade. The 440 acres green and lush campus with all academics activities is

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Animal Health and Management has been recently established in April
2008 at Alagappa University. The aim of the Department is to provide industry oriented degree
level training, Comprising 60% Veterinary and 40% Management and also to develop an
appreciation of the importance of Animal Husbandry and Aquaculture in Indian economy. It also
focuses Biotechnology based research on diseases management and to train students properly in
the area of management pertaining to disease prevention. The Department has a legacy of
emphasizing equally outstanding programs and activities among all academic functions in
teaching, research and outreach related to biology and production of domestic animal.
