Veeraji- Golden Jubilee writer & eminent journalist.

* He has celebrated his golden Jubilee as a purposeful Novelist, short-
story writer and poet in the state capital Hyderabad (2006) Znana-Peeth
award winner Padma vibhhooshan Dr.C.Narayana reddi- who was in the
chair, acclaimed him as a trend- setter both in Journalism and literature-
*KV Ramanachari IAS then commissioner of information and state
film development corporation released the fourth edition of writer's pioneer
novel on the University campus life Tholimalupu -appreciated Veeraji for he
had been an inspiration to young Journalists and upcoming writers in the
state.
*Dr.Mrunalini renowned critic and Professor Telugu University said
Tholimalupu (first turn of life) was the first novel on campus life and Veeraji
was first to write Campus novel in any literature, in any language.
*MVR Sastry the Editor of Andhrabhoomi daily and historian
explained how he had been influenced by veeraji's Novel vidi vidani
chikkulu (the riddles of life) and his first column Samanyuni sanugudu (the
murmurs of common man) in his (MVR’s) student days.
*Scholars and journalists, writers all alike profusely felicitated Veeraji
*Winner of several laurels in the fiction world, in fact he became a working
journalist at the behest of AndhraPatrika (Madras) in 1961). He worked as
Editor there for 32 years until it became defunct (1992) He was known as
Andhrapatrika Veeraji in the filed of letters.

*Veeraji has become very soon, an eminent Editor- he taught as visiting

faculty for Bhavan's Journalism and other such courses – (Editing and

reporting )-attended many a work shop and seminars including national and
regional inspiring the youth with social awareness -
*At the invitation of USSR he study toured Soviet Union and wrote his
experiences in a travelogue- Russia Yatrananadam (1984) - serialized in
Andhra Patrika.
*After working as Editor in the Krishna Patrika daily, udyoga paravam etc;
he turned in to an accredited freelance journalist and of course he has been a
writer from the age of twelve years and continued. His columns and literary
works also. Active journalist and the president of vijayawada Press club
twice 1973-75
*As the Editor in General knowledge books - he excelled in the field of
"infotainment"- by compiling GK books in Telugu and English,called
“Arachetilo viswaznanam”-for over 20 years. He has written several guides
for competitive examinations, or group I and other competitive exams.
AIR listeners knew him for over four decades - enjoying his Dramas, fiction,
discussions, and News reviews.
He has been acclaimed as a trend setting Novelist and short-story writer and

As eminent writer and journalist, he was given the honor of inaugurating the centenary
celebrations of Telugu Short Story conducted by Vedagiri Communications in
Vizianagaram on Feb 7th and 8th.
