Today

Members of the Memorial Prayer Garden committee are

available this morning to answer questions and give tours.
Today is Donut Sunday in the Cornerstone Coffee Shop Every first Sunday the coffee shop is selling Harolds Donuts. When
you visit the coffee shop in November, your tips will support the
Mission of the Month: Room at the Inn.
Holiday Sponsors Needed - Please come to the Connector on
this Sunday or Nov. 8 to sign up to sponsor an individual or family
through the Voluntary Action Centers annual Christmas program.
Thanks to all who have already chosen a family to sponsor!
Room at the Inn (RATI) Emergency Winter Shelter will be
open Dec. 20 through March 3. RATIs mission is to provide a warm
and safe place to sleep during the cold winter months for those in
our community without shelter. Several local churches will serve
as host sites and hundreds of volunteers from throughout our
community will do the staffing. MUMC will host Room at the Inn
from Jan. 31 through Feb. 14. Sign up for the email list or ask for
further information by stopping at the RATI table in the Connector
this morning or email roomattheinncomo@gmail.com.
Grace Notes Choir has moved to Sunday nights at 6 p.m.
All 2nd-5th graders welcome.

Coming Up

Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m.

in the church parlor. Everyone is welcome to join us for the blessing
of the shawls. Contact Betty Dillard at dillardb@missouri.edu or
the church office if you or someone you know is in need of a shawl.
Nov. 8: Pecans for Sale! Searcy Feely Circle is again offering
pecans for sale on Sunday mornings beginning Nov. 8. Stock up
early to be assured of having enough of the best pecans for the
holiday season! Proceeds from the sale will go to UMW missions.
Golf Cart Drivers Needed - As the weather turns colder a
nice warm lift from the parking garage to the church is very much
appreciated by many of our members. In order to continue to
provide that service we are in need of volunteers willing to drive
the golf cart. Volunteering for this team involves a commitment
of just two hours on one Sunday each month. Schedules will not
interfere with the drivers ability to attend worship. Being part
of this team is a great opportunity to serve others as we all seek
to support the ministry and mission of Missouri UMC. Contact
Jo at 443-3111 or jo@moumc.org to find out more about this
opportunity to serve or to sign up for a spot on the team.
