Appendix B – Teams to Keep for reference

THE MODE OF PLAY


RULES and REGULATIONS

1. BASKETBALL (OPEN)

a) The tournament will be conducted under the rules of the International Amateur
Basketball Association.
b) A maximum of six (6) players may be registered by each participating team. Each
team shall consist of five (5) players.
c) The games shall consist of two (2) halves of 15 minutes each halves.
d) All participating teams will have to provide their own jersey with numbers.

2. CARROM (MIXED TEAM)

a) A maximum of six (6) players may be registered in each team.


b) Three (3) double teams will be played in each tie. One of the team must be a mixed
double team.
c) Maximum 15 seconds per move.
d) All matches will be decided on the best of three (3) board games.
e) The tournament will be conducted under the rules of the International Carrom
Federation.

3. DARTS (MIXED TEAM)

a) A maximum of four (4) players may be registered in each team.


b) One (1) single player, one (1) double player and one (1) mixed double team. The
players for single and double team may either be male or female.
c) All matches will be decided on the best of three (3) advantage sets.
d) The game will be played 501 with a straight start and end with a double. After 10
minutes of playing, if both players cannot end with double, then it will be decided
based on the first to reach 501.

4. STREET SOCCER (OPEN)

a) A maximum of six (8) players may be registered in each team. Each team shall be
made up of five (5) players and is open to both men and ladies.
b) The game shall consist of two (2) halves to 7.5 minutes each half. There shall be no
rest between each half.
c) Shin Guards must be worn by all players.
d) No offside. Ball is out when entire ball crosses entire line. Possession charge.
e) Score from anywhere on the court except inside a crease/arc.

f) No player can step inside any arc/crease in front of either goal. Should the ball stop
there, it will be deemed a dead ball and the defending team is awarded a goal kick.
g) Kick-in only. Defense must be 8 feet away and ball must be on the line.
h) Kick-offs and goalie throw-ins are indirect. Goalie can score with his feet.
i) Corner kicks are direct.
j) No delay of game by defense on kick-ins or corners.
k) On kick-ins, if the ball does not enter the field, the other team is awarded the ball.
l) Should a draw occur in the final, a five (5) minutes extension will be played after
which penalty kicks will apply.
m) Referee’s decision is final.

5. TABLE-TENNIS (MIXED TEAM)

a) A maximum of five (5) players may be registered by each team.


b) Rules of the International Table-Tennis Federation shall apply.
c) One (1) single player, one double team and one mixed double. The players for
single and double team may either be male or female.
d) All final matches will be decided based on the best of three (3) sets.
e) Table-tennis balls will be provided by the Organizer.
f) Players of competing teams will be asked to help in umpiring the matches.
g) Participants will be asked to help in umpiring the matches.

6. TUG-OF-WAR (MIXED TEAM)

a) A maximum of nine (9) players may be registered by each team.


b) Each team shall be made up of nine (9) players, at least two (2) of them must
be ladies.
c) Players are not allowed to wear shoes during the pulls.
d) It will be based on the best of 3 pulls.
e) The game will be on a knock-out system.

7. VOLLEYBALL (MIXED TEAM)

n) A maximum of eight (8) players may be registered by each team.


o) Each team shall be made up of six players, at least two (2) of them must be ladies.
p) The game shall be played on knock-out system.
q) All matches will be decided on the best of three (3) advantage set.
r) Each game will be played on 21 points (straight points - table tennis style).
s) There will no rest time in between sets.

NOTE
If you have insufficient number of players to form a team and wish to combine with another
organization, please take note that no points will awarded for games played by the combined team.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to alter the above conditions and fixtures in any way it
deems fit.
