Entry Activity : Children1. Have you felt any spiritual effects in

3. Are you familiar with the Romantic
poets?
4. So now we can move on to a poem
written by a romantic poet about Nature.
Link Talk : The teacher gives some clues about
the author and writes the title of the poem To
Nature on the board. The cles are:
1. He is an English poet, literary critic and
philosopher.
2. He is the friend of Wordsworth and is
regarded as one of the founders of the
Romantic movement.

The students answer the questions.

introduced before the students. The teacher
shows the picture of the author.
Microprocessing of the Input
Model reading by the teacher : The reads the
poem with proper intonation, stress and pause
and also describes the theme of the poem.
Individual Reading : The teacher asks a student
to read aloud the poem. Corrections are made
whereever necessary.
Track reading by the pupil : Students are asked
to read the poem silently and to track their
reading by putting a tick mark to the sentences
which they have understood, to put a question
mark to the part they havent understood, and to
put an exclamatory mark for what they found
interesting or surprising.
Glossary Reference : The students are asked to
refer the glossary and to find out the meaning of
