The PEOs of Electronics and Communication Engineering is prepared and the expected
outcomes are also provided as below
1. Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs):
I.

To prepare students in fundamental concept to excel in post graduate


Programme and Cater to the needs of the industry through rigorous education.

II.

To provide training on recent areas of interrupt in electronics as well as


communication engineering concepts to enhance the creativity for developing
novel products for real time problems .

III.

To create the awareness of continuous learning, professional ethics, benefits of


team work and necessity of better communication skills for better professional
practice with social concern.

IV.

To provide a conductive academic learning environment to inculcate the


qualities of leadership, excellence in professional career and to develop the
confidence for long time learning for successful professional career.

V.

To develop the students with the design concepts and technical knowledge to
solve and analyze engineering problems.

2. Programme Outcomes:

Graduates will carry out their assignment in industry with social awareness
and responsibility.

electronics engineering problems.

SUBJECT: PROFESSIONAL ETHICS IN ENGINEERING


COURSE OBJECTIVES: At the end of the course, the student should understand
create an awareness on Engineering Ethics and Human Values. The student should be able to
study the moral issues and decisions confronting individuals and organizations engaged in
engineering profession. The student should be able to study the related issues about the moral
ideals, character, policies, and relationships of people and corporations involved in
technological activity
TOPICS: Morals, Values and Ethics, Models of Professional roles, theories about right
action, Engineering as experimentation, employee rights, intellectual property rights,
Multinational corporations Environmental ethics computer ethics.
CONTRIBUTION TO OUTCOMES: This course used assigned readings, lectures, and
homework to enable the students to: (i) learnt the moral issues and moral problems in
engineering and how to find the solution to those problems. (ii) learnt the need for
professional ethics, codes of ethics and roles, concept of safety, risk assessment (iii) get
exposure in Environment Ethics &computer ethics; know their responsibilities and rights.
