Seasonal Marketing/Street Team Internship

Northwest Arkansas Naturals Baseball

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are looking for two individuals to serve as the leaders of our Street Team. The Naturals Street
Team will travel to local events with the team van, the Naturals mascot Strike, and promotional items to promote the team and
upcoming games in the community. A Street Team member should be outgoing, possess superior communication skills, be detail
oriented and be extremely comfortable working with people in the community. Most importantly, the Street Team Leaders should be
energetic and excited about promoting Naturals baseball throughout Northwest Arkansas and outlying communities.
Street Team Internship Responsibilities

Coordinate and plan the execution of Street Team Events

Generate new ideas for Street Team Events in addition to events scheduled by the Naturals Marketing Department (ex. Little
League Openings, restaurants, movies, etc.)
Promote Naturals tickets and events at all Street Team Events by using our flyers, brochures, and schedules
Perform as the Naturals mascot (Strike and/or Sinker) when needed
Hang all banners and display materials prior to the Street Team appearance
Coordinate van loading/unloading
Maintain contact with event coordinator at appearance site as well as Naturals Marketing Staff
Take promotional photos when possible
Contributes to our marketing efforts, especially grassroots, including big event planning and brainstorming
Assists with in-game mascot routines when needed
Responsible for implementing between innings entertainment, leading Game Day Intern staff and assisting the Promotions
Coordinator when needed on Home Game Days
Assists in departmental problem solving, project planning, and the development and execution of departmental goals and
objectives
Assists with the Marketing Department plan and executes a timeline of marketing efforts
Assist with other Front Office departments when necessary

Requirements:

Must be willing to work long hours and weekends (all special events and TBD number of Naturals games)

Must be willing to cooperate and work well with all other areas of our organization

Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and other general computer software

Must have knowledge of baseball and an open, creative mind

This is a paid hourly internship. Hours will rotate throughout the season to enhance the experience but will include nights, weekends
and occasional holidays. Assistants will work 30-40 hours per week on average.
