Bid Evaluation

Dear Doug:
PRIME AE Group, Inc. (PRIME), has performed a review of the bids for the above-referenced project,
which were opened on June 30, 2015.
A tabulation of the bids received is provided on the attached Table. The low bidder for each Option are
as follows:
o Base Bid
JA Rosa Construction
o Base Bid with Option 1
Associated Construction Company (ACC)
PRIME performed a review of the bids and noted a minor error in the tabulation of costs for the ACC bid,
but it did not affect the ranking of the bidders. The total contract price noted in the bid was $995,744,
but the actual total (calculated based on the quantities and unit prices provided), is $995,745.10
It is our understanding that the City would like to pursue the Base Bid with Option 1. As such, PRIME
performed a reference check for ACC (see attached). ACC appears to be well qualified to perform this
contract.
