The Prologue
This is the first of a three part book series called Liber Grey Matter where I Frater R.R. former member of the
League of Shadows and Black Brotherhood decided to depart the organization and rebel with my twelve
Dischordian popes now known as Agents. Although everything I say is a lie I lost to one of the bosses of the
illuminati at a game of chess and now because of that I feel I need to make the whole world Burn. As is always

the case with important matters it was essential we lay the ground work and deal with the most important
matters first, picking a cool sounding operation name and code names. After much arguing I decided to
inaugurate a dictatorship upon the dischordant dischordian democracy or 3D reality as well call it and decided
for them.
Our codenames were decided thus.
I would be Mr.0. and also speak for the organization under a further code name Frater Rascally Rabbit. A.k.a.
Frater R.R. a.k.a The Leader a.k.a Leader a.k.a the Anti-Christ.
It has also been decided that all members of our organization can invoke my whimsical essence by the mantra
FRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR where my transcendent and astral gooey love shall rain down upon you if something
good happens to you and if something bad happens to you I decided to piss on you as apart of our
organizations secret plan.
The Twelve would be Mr.1. Mr.12. and would collectively be known as my Fluffy Minions of Evil a.k.a. Fuzzy Evil
a.k.a. The 12 Bunnies of the apocalypse a.k.a. the secret keepers and generals of the Demon Armies of Hell.
Mr.13. will be the reader you know like the You can do it waterboy courage of the fans to eat up more the shit
we are serving them Mr.13. will be known as Crazy Ivan, The Vessel of Destruction, and Harbinger of the
Zombie Apocalypse.
Our goal is to spread a secret doctrine amidst and cleverly obscured by propaganda and misinformation to lead

Criticism of Magick Part I

The current occult paradigms are as it were a shambles and unable in large part to take account of themselves.
Though they try to unravel the age, keys to existence and the universe by a cosmological appropriation of it, or
esoteric map such as Kabbalistic inferences, the elements or other maps are simply unable to appropiate or
account for a thesis of cosmic significance. Putting aside claims of errors etc.. it must be simply said that in the
purely exoteric sense if one takes the claim Science & Magick are indistinguishable one of these two divergent
narratives for the same phenomenon surely has more to show for itself. The most ardent of any account I have
seen for Traditonal magic is Joeseph C. Lisiwski who dared challenge shallow New Age assumptions but seems
to spend a long time trying to motivate and/or spread a propagandist account of magic. Indeed if magic is to
analogized to science I find it suspect one would as it were perform evocation alone and would be more served
to share, observer or even try to video record or detect the phenomenon through different measurements
perhaps used by paranormal investigators. It might be one does know a Great Mystery or the secret to solving it
but if one wanted to share this knowledge material proof might be offered to some extent.
Though this criticism might be obvious, it is only because at least Mister Lisiewski is obvious, emphatic and to
the point where he stands and most other authors as to the nature of Magic being real or not say nothing but
instead choose to believe in it and reinforce centuries old suppositions and narratives to avoid confronting some
hard truths for probably various reasons some known and unknown that we might know or speculate on.

Some of these reasons are obvious like the belief a lack of magick will stop the flow of magick But the thing of
it is magick is defined in several different ways but most inevitably lead one to believe Magick is more the case
of performing an intentional action or causing change in accordance to Will extends beyond ritual work or other
forms of activity associated with practice or initiation.
So is it that without believing in Magick one will stop being able to think or act independently? How far does
that limitation go in that if I refuse to believe one can manipulate the world through declared volition and non
contact forces does that mean I lose my physical intentionality too? I have a suspicion I know and the reader
knows specifically what kind of magick those practices of evocation etc that involve directly effecting the
macrocosm and the magus simply does not want to be pinned down or put in a box.
The belief itself seems a superficial premise What if it is the belief in the disbelief of magick is the cause of
the flow magick or if one casts a magick ritual that allows them to disbelieve in magick but still conduct magick.
What then would be the case? Magick says it is the Art & Science but in the modern conception of the phrase
seems lost to have even the methodology of defining the independent variable, dependent variable and
controlled conditions. Whereas Crowley clearly indicated the magus cannot do anything impossible by natural
law he seemed kean to emphasize in a more clear appraisal though still somewhat lacking account of defining
Magick. It is clear many of these authors who have done research have not read the original source material of
Liber ABA part III introduction. Instead they have contented themselves to quoting a dictionary definition of the
word The Art and Science of Creating Change in conformity with Will.
But this is because Magick is not rational and would appear as irrational or trans-rational in character to anyone
who had done the work of a neophyte, some basic workings in magick and dared to ask questions.
Rationally one might appraise or even find some possible avenues to explain Magick.

Philosophy :- If Magick works, it in fact implies one declaring something at X and making it true at Y. The only
thing necessary is X & Y are different times and places. It could wholly be possible one attempts to cast magick
at point X in the future to point Y which is now or further in the past. Though traditionally speaking X is the
point prior to point Y in terms of linear time and point Y is where the specified desires of X occurs. This does not
imply knowledge of any causal relation or specific methodology but simply an analogous relationship united by
a synchronicity and a declaration. Thus even if Magick works it is quite literally creates a possible space for
solipsistic notions of reality to kick in. This in itself lacks the external confirmers to be associated as a logical
appraisal that would be sufficient to make a logical argument or proof positive analysis. It is as it were if Magick
is philosophical in the more modern appropriation of the term in any way it is to be understood as a Language
Game itself and if it was sufficiently advanced may climb up to a hermeneutic appraisal of reality.
Psychology:- The power of belief and conformity has long been examined where what people identify as an
authority creates surprising and radical changes to behaviour such as in the Stanford Prison Experiment. Little

is different from the practitioner who feels energy be it merely hypnotic impulse or something spiritual they
have acknowledge the same thing upon reading that Great Occult Work. That their mind is changing simply
wouldnt be up for debate causal reasons or not. This radical phase shift of consciousness is the beginning of
invocative work but one which is or might be unintentional. In that one might be reading books or trying to
practice skills to try and believe or astatine the powers therein but be passive to the principle of immersion of
conscious engagement or acceptance of a schematic complex. Hence it would fall well within the domain of
functioning within the placebo effect.
Science:- Most of the Scientific analysis done completely overrides any need for and/or finds evidence in
support of magick. E.g. where is the guy who can bend a spoon with his mind without touching it? We have a
bear but we dont have one of those or a spider monkey.
Alternate analysis are often offered that either utilize information the author themselves does not understand
and/or the reader probably does not understand to try and establish hermeneutics. But one would note these
are always grand narratives it must be quantum mechanics, dark matter, the astral plain or collective
unconsciousness. There must be one world system that permeates all of the world so all spiritual experience
and magic is possible and true. As opposed to works like Rupert Sheldrake and his work on Morphic Resonance
and Dean Radins evidence for Psi. Empirical evidence for quantum entanglement, extended mind theories
observable in schools of fish and flocks of birds etc. They like the skeptic who says where is the evidence?
looks for none and then denies it when presented are equally as floored as the astral in every manifestation
serves as an analogical identity and quick fix explanation.
It might be at once easy to insult their intelligence and call them idiots but the Truth is and I would argue that
they are not, though admit fully the dubious and insufficient ability for them to transfer and/or translate their
own narrative into something like science, philosophy or psychology. The simplest reason I could offer although
only my conjecture is simply this, Magick is a Myth. Not in the sense of a religious premise or collection of
narratives of cultures now fallen for prominence in turn ending their gods mythic cycles but in the dictionary
sense of the word a collection of stories to live their life by.
It is as it were one when evoking fire is not evoking fire but a collection of analogous properties and
components one calls fire and supervenes consciously upon the world. Rather than trying to actually probe for
Wisdom and start with a Socrates or Zen Koan Magick as it were can only be fully understood in structure and
initiation as a life lived.

One might start with principle structures of phases of initiatory principles for a more clear picture that start with
the neophyte working to some intermediary state called Adept and then Master or Magus. Generally as one
climbs higher there work has a tendency to drop magic that is considered to be a more sorcerous application
and directly concerned with desire. It is a consistent rooted assumption to do this e.g. the siddhas of Yoga or
Demonology are cast or considered to be a lower form of magic in place of High Magic that might be more
concerned in yoga with an idealized attainment of consciousness or kabbalistically derived from attaining a
higher concept of the oneness of god. It is as it were built into the rites of passage to drop the more
externalized or evocative work and look for more invocative work that then accordingly is evoked by ones
immediate being.
There is however several problems with this which include demonization, lack of sophistication & cognitive
dissonance to the rites and works of magic as a whole which must be addressed if the new aeon is to arrive.

In order to further our lord and masters Will we must attach ourselves to several myth or memeplexes in order
to move the current in the age of our favour. Taking advice from the Aeonic Master seen through the esoteric
mirror of darkness as Genesis of TOI we must surely come up with various forms of idiocy to sway the people to
our way. This will in accordance be my job to introduce these in successive phases of our doctrines unfolding. It
is not that I disagree with Mr.7. but who was right or wrong never truly was what won hearts and minds it was

emotions. Minds whom already have locked interests, Minds not masters in letters and numbers, Minds whom
feel uneasy or in angst, Minds who are swayed by influence of others, Minds looking for belonging, community
and meaning, Minds who are confused or uncertain, Minds looking to be vindictive, Minds whom are swayed by
vanity, pride and greed, Minds who love taking orders, Minds who know not who they are or what they stand for
& Minds too stupid to know if they are one of these things already. Mr.7. can and only will win minds subject to
reason I however have the larger task to win small numbers with several discursive propagandist rhetorical
accounts that assiduously manipulate peoples emotons. For too long have they sat on shallow truth on what

The strength and weakness of the neopagan community insofar as resisting coercion lies at the identity politics
that lay at the heart of their idea of community. Although this does not refer to all of them, it does not need to
for it is synonymous enough with pagan and relevant synonyms as to substantiate a meaningful relation to the
psychological identification as being part of that group. In order to do this we need to start a propagandist
meta-myth that contains within it both truth and lies providing the strongest kind of fiction and falsehood for

Criticism of Magic Part II

It is the thesis of this work that conceptual boundaries serve purposes as providing a map but that confusing
the map with the terrain is never a good idea. That said to forego the map entirely and work in the same
framework provides as it were no reflection to critical reflection and hence allows possible biased to go
unchecked. My argument is simple that the idea of High Magick in the modern conception called that or not
simply is a denial of a wider category of investigation of what Magick traditionally is. One does not need to take
my word for it but can simply examine the difference in the writing and style of what one would consider older
texts and hence source material and those which typifiy modern Magic. I would consider two source materials
on the nature of Magic, The Sacred book of Abramelin & The Thee Books of Occult Philosophy, comparing these
too books written by the Golden Dawn and the works of Aleister Crowley both of which defined the historical
basis of tradition that most traditions of modern magic draw upon to gain a basis of comparison.
One will clearly note the difference in the course of thought where older source material was more religious
prone and traditional in conception and ideas. Abramelin belonging to a legacy and school of traditional Jewish
magic and Kabbalistic tradition whilst the Three books of Occult Philosophy draw might be said to draw from
larger hermetic sources, Platonist conceptions and kabbalah in as it were being more embracive of a wider
occult corpus of Western magic, being much the focus of the project of the latters working. It is a somewhat
dubious assumption I would argue to assume that these magical workings are invalid simply because one has
the privelage of more modern conceptions of thought. It is the same kind of assumption that would look at a
culture who say believes some kind of mythic complex relating to more animistic understandings of the world.
Taking one of their assumptions or perhaps what we consider less civilized ethics and deny or condemn them
wholly. Completely ignoring the anthropological work, possible traditional wisdom, knowledge of plants that
might contribute to pharmacology, tribal existences protection and the connection to ecology, the possible
insight it might provide us to logical foundations of language, history of people and genuinely just the lack of
dehumanizing pretention in the evaluation of their people and customs.
Joseph C. Lisiwiski makes this point explicitly clear in his seminal work on Ceremonial Magic and for all the fiery
nature of the prose circumvented with the clear and very hostile subtext of The New Age can Blow it out their
ass it is actually across several of his books there exists finally one of the most concise, clear and pointed path
to a powerful and sincere basis of magic. The most useful being I would argue the Book Howling from the Pit an
indispensable guide to beginning magicians or practitioners interested in the occult in a more pliable sense.
I would go further however than Mr. Lisiwski and point out several features that I think are worthy of note in
terms of the problematic association with high magic and why I have chosen a completely different route to
transcendence. In the first place one would only need to look at the Wise Master whom would tell a child not to
attempt sorcerous acts but instead find wisdom in the most candid and banal sense remarking that the child
must want to be Harry Potter or Gandalf. Normally though you look at what the young are trying to do, in form
of psychic abilities or some version of (insert prefix) kinesis They are not trying to fly on broomstick nor shoot
lightning out of their hand or something instead they try something more akin of trying to get a matchbox car
to move through force of Will or use of magic. As it were challenging the preconceptions of natural law and
belief in a free enquiry through being. But of course it is all the stuff of hubris and sheerly to delight in power, it
could not be a child was looking for that in hubris, power, but was also experimenting, testing the limits of
human nature and so on.
What I find funny being at the age of 27 is I spent more time listening to others than I did speaking, espousing
or otherwise offering incisive specific criticisms or 1/12 that I might have. I truly thought there might be
something more to this but I am convinced most magus spend a lifetime removing a mask to lo reveal yet
another mask participating in the endless enlightenment hoax. It is to rest on ones laurels and not confront the
inconvenient truth that magick is possibly 100-200 years philosophically backward, still rooted in
Transcendentalist and Theosophical dialogs and is just waiting to be mockingly left behind and occupy the same
ghetto they would send those children or medieval conceptions of magic in the first place too.
But let us justify this forwarded bold claim with a few specific examples.

The displacement of platonic thought and the godhead as being more fundamentally metaphysical or
transcendental was not in fact a completely modern invention but a theosophical inversion of
Transcendentalism that developed as an attempted though ultimately failed attempt to turn

of the Great and Practical Intelligence the primordial tool maker and weaver of human culture whose
god is the primordial architect and order simply became less meaningful. So surely masonry just in

behest as I would rather regard that lodge and order than just a mess of chauvinism in garb and an

Compare the modern equivalent of history of the O.T.O. and the Golden Dawn to these Titans and
whose members counted amongst them. Consider the frustration O.T.O. members and Golden Dawn
members feel when lets face it socially retarded, half wits more or less tell them what they think
about their initiatory path. Often though with the daily grind and often improvisational temples even
these traditions suffer to stay alive. Of course though they are the New Aeon and whomever was
before in masonry and theosophy etc. are the fools.

The disjointed discourse of magick is no better either, where there is a passive relativism with kinds of
innocuous subtexts

dare tread into uncivilized waters as the occult or esoteric would never concern itself with the taboo.

magicians we are preachy and whiney enough to condone no force or violence. But we believe in magick
(maybe.. ?!) so instead of literally pushing someone under the bus we will do it through the invisible hand of
magic and that makes it ethically okay somehow because of karma or something.
The change and shift of whose magick one is using for all the presupposition of harkening back to Crowley I
would say Dion Fortune who defines the art and science of Magick specifically in the domain of consciousness
captures more the practice of ritual and development most of the art is now aiming at.
But this kind of disjointed and overtly disconnected discourse is simply reflected most severely in the practice
of magic in that it seems to me magick is confused and does not know who or what it is. Rather than seeing
myself at 15 years old now wondering why I had so many questions it is because magick in many ways was still

What is the attitude one can have in magic in related to practice ?

here and will give some recommendations but it is more a case for every ten books.five are tragically shit,
four are the same same and one is a half decent and rarely a real gem of a volume. Fuck that I dont want to
read 200 books for 20 good ones to much money, too much time. So herein I will change my magic and begin
laying out a new unified paradigm for a protomysticism for the twenty first century. I am not angry but more so
much as disappointed when I look at some of the younger generation who learn from these rabble of so called

teachers I look at them with the same fiery disdain that Hakuin the Zen once looked upon the world with, and
know not believe but know what it is like to see the best of the next generation whom would become pillars
upon which the Next generation of magic rests squandered to these many and more Boofoons who call
themselves teachers. Interestingly Hakuin might be the first work I can actually recall that is not only intensely
theological and psychological but pedagogical as well fundamentally interested in discussing a tradition of
practices, customs and teaching as what it is fundamentally a communication from one person to another
through some cultural vehicle. For those concerned about these such things before another book on occultism
buy, borrow, barter, download, steal or imagine what might be in its pages.
I hope to have children one day and before I let my little boy or little girl lose on the occult world I shall surely

Right I am more or less someone who was an armchair occultist insofar as the Western traditions are
concerned I personally doubt or would be suspect on most peoples magic experience. I mean we are in the
twenty first century now and I just dont seem to see the people who can evoke angels and cure cancer, the
This book is not only the one that contains the master right but also contains all the introductory material
because it is more simply selected notes from my grimoire edited with some essays or notes out front. So
before we get to any introduction where valuable information is exchanged let me ask some questions and
answer them quickly the reader might have asked of mine or anothers work. Because you know those authors
that just end up repeating themselves, have no real criticisms of each other and take chapters to write what
could really be written in a few sentences. I am not one of those authors.

and if you think about it if it works you get what you ask for so ? That means when magick works it
is literally a self fulfilling prophecy and considering all experience is locked in consciousness you
wouldnt know the difference, it is only through faith in synergistic observation and possible evidence
one can find it.
Ill be honest with you in terms of philosophy and science magick is a fucking horrible epistemology
and ontology now whether or not you think physicalism is completely unbiased or not (and I sure
dont) is irrelevant to two facts.

Magicks results are at times questionable to even exist, sometimes doesnt work and can often be
quite often obscure due to complex subject matter and just frankly the outright B.S. taught about

People often will want to put you down because you want to try and cause literal change, and not
focus on invocation. Let me tell you something I tried kinesis sincerely for years. I got nowhere, if
someone else masters it, proves it valid or whatever the next day Fine It sucked balls for me I
wasnt trying to gain powers of Gandalf but to see if I could become resonant to something in nature
that others assumed impossible People say investigate and be open minded but you dare challenge
the empirical paradigm and you wanted to be Harry Potter all along Sure I wanted power but I wasnt
expecting to flip cars or do X Men shit if I could just do something like move a small matchbox car a
couple of inches without touching it I would have been fine. If it was simply about the power to move
the car Id pick up the fucking thing and move it. Same thing with pyrokinesis I can build a
flamethrower as a weekend project The power is not sorcerous in that uncouth unbridled desire,
what we wanted to do was become resonant to something without the need of a medium or physicality
to see if we could uncover and manipulate nature in ways unknown to us before. It was power hungry,
inquisitive, aspirational all at once an experiment between myself and nature though not in the
scientific sense of the word. My conclusion? I at that time could not use telekinesis or pyrokinesis, I
had a maybe now I have a nothing. It might be possible but I wouldnt be the guy to ask about it.
Some of the psychic influences, I believe are much more compelling both in the synchronicity of my
results and given some evidence.
I would agree that it is the ecstatic parts of magick and the invocative work, which is most powerful
being able to believe anything is possible and in that space creating quick and exacting changes to
oneself with a powerful bliss. But dont let the Platonist pomp be it ritual playing dress ups or in a full
lotus position fool you into thinking they are the way, the light and the truth. Often their medieval
minded metaphysical clusterfucks are more toxic to people than others and it isnt a matter of
studying them it is where once we needed many metaphors or concepts like yin& yang, the elements
and souls physical science fills much of it. Aristotles cosmology is an example where souls were
different categories of features life had that more or less differentiated it from inert matter. For an

ancient philosopher without a microscope or a modern biological theory background it honestly wasnt
a bad crack So Magick works you should investigate yourself and not just assume something
because you heard it but dont let these fucking cookie cutter authors drag you down
Occultism had to be hidden way back when because it could have meant one would be killed and in
some places I suppose it is like that though not likely where this book is being read considering the
laws of averages. Most of these lot need to keep their secrets because without them they would be
revealed for the perfectly ordinary specimens of humanity they are or as utter plebs. The reason they
cant answer this question is because they tip toe around doubt themselves and dont know how to
deal with it. They believe if they doubt magick it wont work most of them would have to google dark
night of the soul to know what it is but dont you worry they would still tell you all about the spirit
From the lessons they got and cookie cut their magick system around.
Zen... is the key Great Faith, Great Doubt, Great Persistence.

Is there any evidence for magic working or existing?

Before you can ask that you need to understand what kind of magic you are asking about as a type of
psychokinesis versus a precognition might exist but work scientifically through a completely different
causal mechanism. Most people think magick should not seek to prove itself I disagree Something should
be repeatable or one doesnt have a method for it Even if you made a delicious meal some time a go if
you lost the recipe or cant repeat it one can hardly say they can cook it, rather you cooked it once. For
those who think this is somehow my own twist to magick or something read part III of Aleister Crowleys
Book III.
Now to the evidence this again depends what one does accept philosophy, psychology & Science
Philosophy
Magick is a horrible epistemology and ontology if not caveated the hell of and if one is not careful a toxically
ignorant thing to engage in and utterly solipsistic. Know Magick works on Synchronicity this involves one thing
after another this does not highlight causal relationships and so whoever said metaphysics is medieval minded
and absurd. At best one manages metaphysical speculation, but one was speculating asking for evidence to
begin with so it is to answer an inquiry with a question. You might be able to find something in phenomenalism
but this involves making claims about a World View not the World. To put it in occultnik the Microcosm
experiencing the Macrocosm not anything to specific about the actual nature or specific causal nature of the
Macrocosm. So philosophy could give you something but it would be very psychonautical in approach and
phenomenology is one of those philosophies that likes to advertise itself as written in English and then you
open it to read a language that is anything but English. So for pragmatic purposes I would have to say you are
better off putting it aside. There is also panpsychism but I honestly just doubt it, I mean even if the world is all
somehow Mind. I am sure Tibetan Dzogchen, Psychology and Physics will just take it over leaving Dan Dennett
to say Fuck and David Chalmers to say Where is my cudos you bastards?

Psychology
It wouldnt be psychology the one that wants to be a science proper but something probably embedded in the
transpersonal psychology tradition I believe with Maslow and peak experiences. It is basically that believe
anything lark, ecstacy, empowering subconscious, achieving goals, perspective and so on. So to root it in the
tradition, it is interesting to see some research as well. In neuroscience they are getting better picking up brain
differences although most of these seem aimed at Eastern religions Tantra and Zen are most of the stuff I
found. Oh and be sure to look up some stuff on the placebo effect and group psychology specifically relating to
conformity. You wouldnt think of it as Magick but you might find a new use for it if you do There is also stuff
on dreams, perceptions and other stuff. I have not done much into parapsychology, so you would have to
research that yourself.
Science
If you want the more systematized or scientific work both in experimental evidence and criticism of Science.
You want to be looking at Rupert Sheldrake or Dean Radin, I will get to them in another book. But these guys
have some decent evidence for weird stuff going on and If you want the additional theories that arent
complete bullshit. Look for stuff in Extended Mind, Quantum Entanglement and Placebo Effect studies as well. It
is interesting to see what belief in stress being bad for you does to your body as opposed to people who affirm
it otherways as well. Even that though the evidence is tacit and the psychic phenomenon not very impressive,
so I mean dont dismiss it but dont fold the tin foil hat to soon either.
Documented cases, there are things like when people go into a coma and wake up speaking a new language or
this one case I remember in Australia where her blood type actually changed with a liver transplant. Now I am
not saying that is magic but I am saying these cases work outside the bounds of expectations and regularities
one presupposes in conventional understanding and assumation of natural laws and possibility.

Is magic worth doing or learning?

Magic is worth doing depending on what it is or what you think it should be and what that does to your life. The
problem with defining magic or magick is they mean so much the concept is barely useful accept as almost a
basis for a process theology or pragmatism. I really dont think Crowley is specific enough to take on in or to
feel the need to take him on in any real terms seriously or not. Even when he concedes natural laws limit Man,
he also makes notes that Man cannot channel forces (an analogy I assume) they are not present to. Well does
that mean my kinesis experiments were a failure because of the way I did them or because it is impossible by
convention of natural law ? You see what I mean? Even the attempt at science by analogy is so flimsy
because the damned thing doesnt provide a causal basis, I dont know where science was back when Crowley
wrote that definition or if he stole it off but it isnt science nor is it a scientific method most times and to most
people who use the word. If you cant isolate an independent and dependent variable and suspect a causal
scheme or set up control conditions. So yeah where does that put you ? I am willing to buy into the argument
some people are different then others like I believe that girls blood type change. But hers was supposed to be
an irregular mutation relating to her immune system and a stimulus condition of her liver transplant to cause it.
So if there are thousands of magicians and not making this about me but a small subsection not including me
can do something. X and it is caused by Y where is the causal relation.
Magical authors either understand this point and do not want to disappoint their readers or their bank account
in turn, they do not want to admit that magical thinking might include a very large degree of solipcism, they
dont want to admit that they take things on faith or are simply ignorant on the point. If I get one angry letter
saying I can do such and such prove It, if you can do a ritual three times and ilict the same result document it,
show evidence that you can replicate it and publish kick down doors get noticed and expose the truth to the
world. Be the guy who proves me and all the skeptics wrong Because even if I do believe in some
phenomenon it is as it were I realize and confess the implicit lack of epistemic quality and self referential nature

So to answer that I wouldnt do another persons magic and not one that didnt or wasnt strictly experimental
in what it tries to achieve. It is precisely the sorcerous that is condemned as Harry Potter nonsense that
properly applied is the natural philosophy project but because someone made a movie with some impossible
bullshit and they got stereotyped now my experimenting is somehow invalid? Because of Harry fucking Potter &

You know how everyone writes a book on magic and they more or less say it is a complete guide but they
rarely get round to talking about the potential of occult powers or If they do they more or less say see for
yourself ? I have tried various operations I have to say there were some synchronicity involved and very
powerful experiences but if I used it as a basis of knowledge I would be mad. There is a reason why magical
experience is considered ecstatic because it is intense and rapturous dangerously intoxicating, wonderful and

mysterious synchronicity and if done correctly, if it works ironically a self-fulfilling prophecy if ones definition
is the art and science bit with Will or Volition at the core.
As an epistemology and ontology it is bankrupt and although I believe there is things one can do, one cant
prove ones direct involvement in them and quite often for a big work of magic when there isnt a pay off and
there are shit loads of those. Magic and spirituality is like Gambling everyone wants to tell you when they won
the big pay out Nobody wants to tell you how much they spent to get there or when they spend a tonne and
come away with nothing. Even worst is when your self-fulfilling prophecy be it real in the empirical sense of the
word or not turns into an utter tragedy. Things didnt go to plan or you break down into some kind of
depression, anxiety or intense suffering. Nobody wants to tell you when they lost. When they spent hours in the
blistering wind or cold as shit darkness and their ritual didnt work or worst when things dont go to plan and
ones self-fulfilling prophecy and one comes away worst off bitten in the ass by bad karma or whatever it is.
Now I will tell you if you go this road before you float like a butterfly and sting like a bee it will be more a case of
floating like a butterfly then getting stung like a bee, rinse repeat a hundred fucking times or so. Eventually you
get used to it but if you follow my magic instructions you might not have to but we will come back to that in a
second.
I already touched on the whole philosophy of magic thing I dont want to go too deep into it because magic
works inside the world of phenomenon or consciousness, it literally plays off the human capacities. If you close
your eyes you will see into your own mind but if you open your eyes you see into your own mind also, because
it is still consciousness Think about it you have no direct objective absolute certain point to know the world. It
is this kind of unknowing that opens up the basis of the belief where anything is possible and it is a powerful
belief set. But those parts of your mind that stop you from believing anything also include the ones that stop
you from jumping off a building thinking you can fly and putting your hand in the fire Now some people can
and have done the mind over matter thing but people have also tried to do it and messed up. So bare in mind
the psychological apparatus involved in limiting belief sets also keeps you safe, think of it like those amazing
stories about peoples feats of strength and such. Your body keeps the overdrive as it were In reserve for
emergency, similar thing with magic in a way insomuch as ritual kind of stimulates the mind and shakes or
shocks you into the overdrive mode in terms of belief. It can allow you to make rapid and just experience the
most profound earth shattering rapture but seriously too many writers are irresponsible with this concept Be
careful with this and for the love of god if someone offers you grape flavoured kool aid run. I think this is one of
the best but potentially lethal parts to magic but it is something to keep in mind
So to review I have already addressed the philosophy and some of the psychological implications but now Ill
take on the taboo that is Science (dun dun dun or some scary music sfx of your choice)
Look Ill go into it hell I even devoted an entire text collection to it in the second book but there are a couple of
things that need sorting out.
Spirituality/Occult/Esoteric or Whatever is an inherently bad category to simply believe in wholesale. I mean
assume for a moment ghosts were discovered to be real There was some material proof science could
quantify, theorize and describe right By definition they would no longer be supernatural and would occupy a
sphere of culturally accepted knowledge. But that wouldnt prove dick about big foot, aliens, faeries, god,
Atlantis, precognition, telekinesis or whatever I hope you are following me here but Spirituality is basically the
lost and found box for weird and wacky belief sets right So even if one presumes that it is possible to prove
one thing one way and even if it turns out to be the case with another thing. So to extend our analogy Science
proves ghosts are reals but we reach a level of knowledge with regard to human capacities to dismiss any
psychokinesis, pyrokinesis etc from being possible at all. At that point in history one thing has become natural
and the other would have been categorically denied Yet both would have the possibility of remaining
associated to spirituality, occultism and so on.
So if you are looking for the best evidence I can find on magic being possible I would not look at any occult
author Ive read. I mean the ability to bullshit is awe inspiring but it is still bullshit. You want to look for specific
instances I have found reports of people coming out of comas and speaking different languages and so on. I
also remember a news story about a girl who had an organ transplant and her blood type changed. It is there if
you look for it and one will often come across the outliers.
If you want the more systematized or scientific work both in experimental evidence and criticism of Science.
You want to be looking at Rupert Sheldrake or Dean Radin, I will get to them in another book. But these guys
have some decent evidence for weird stuff going on and If you want the additional theories that arent
complete bullshit. Look for stuff in Extended Mind, Quantum Entanglement and Placebo Effect studies.
Now here is the thing only look at this stuff if you value Truth in three ways.

What do you know and what can you decipher I mean there is a reason why I am not putting in some
of the five dimensional spaces and zero point energy stuff. It is because physics of that kind is tough
and it is hard to understand, even when you understand it you are less understanding the World but a
mathematical conception of it. Considering everyone is waiting for String Theory or Quantum Theory to
kind of give out and we end up with a unified field theory using that as evidence for psi, or magick or
whatever seems kind of shitty

Look I am not going to sing the praises of Science as the unbiased arbiters of human knowledge not by
a long shot But if you are going to criticize them for being dogmatic and then try to seek to qualify
your own spiritual assumptions or whatever on what is rightly or wrongly considered on the fringes of
science and you cant smell a waft of shit coming from your own ass then you are being disingenuous.
I am just saying that maybe there is an almost caveman instinct that compels Man to crave and want
certainty and Truth to the exclusion of what actually constitutes legitimate inquiry or open minded
nature to inquiry and investigation in favour of Vanity, Ego and what unfortunately becomes an
institutionalized form of banal ignorance that requires paradigm shifts
It requires you specify what you mean by magick and what your own experiments reveal I tried some
kinesis stuff that didnt work jack whilst some of the psychic stuff I did was pretty on the money and
there seems to be some quite strong evidence that might support it. Does that mean I am right and
have the truth? No it does not mean a damned thing, except I have a confirmer that isnt someone
who puts tin foil hats on their head agreeing with me. So again try and make at least some kind of
analog, dont go extended mind = angels Well not in public please, or not in public near a place of
higher learning or a library dont be one of those motherfuckers that are ruining it for everyone.

The problem I have with the idea of knowledge and technology is its link to materialism You know it makes
your life easier, empowers you and puts you in control.. Bullshit. I used to love not having a mobile phone, look
at debt levels now, how many hours many people work all because we know they can replace us if not
automate what used to be our job position and so on. Knowledge is no different I started this off with several
questions now I have many more if not over a hundred I am less sure than when I went in even though I
became sure in the way I previously wanted to be sure. Because I am unsure in ways I did not know it was
possible to be suspect of the world by learning more about it. Guess what will happen if I start trying to answer
some of those of the 100 questions. You will get closure on ten find yourself unsure of twenty, discard thirty
and wonder what is in the gap, discover one hundred new questions including things people have not probably
researched or research you can find and you will be wondering about all the stuff you are missing inbetween.
Imagine if Science and Technology converged and built an omniscient computer. It could answer any and all
questions past, present and future and could realign itself from its own influence. So if you typed in to it when
will I die and it stops you from getting in front of a bus it could realign itself to account for that and it could give
you these fact based answers instantly No What is the meaning of life? BS It is how much will I weigh after
Christmas or will the stocks go up for such a company etc Imagine now they released an app connected to
this computer
How powerful would you feel ? Would you feel certain in and of the world ? Would it change you? Do you think
you would matter anymore? (even to yourself) Would you want to know ? Would you still use the app anyway?
What would you ask?
That little thought exercise isnt to make you stop learning but just put down a bag of bricks called false
expectations. Sooner you do the sooner life becomes breezy.
I think the real question is Is magic worth it? That is something you would have to answer yourself but again I
am giving you a no bullshit answer so for me yes and no.
Yes I am glad I didnt take on other peoples tacit assumptions and investigated the world, I definitely did it
more out of curiosity and in the spirit of fun than anything else. I got that but I didnt become a millionaire If I
had my time over again I probably would have done a lot differently. I wouldnt have bothered with a lot of
junk and gone straight for the good stuff. But I think that is part of the magical journey rarely talked about
Can you sift through buckets of shit and find pearls. I would still rather be a sorcerous magician though then
one of these pseudognostic freaks, these people that tell a story where they start off wanting to be Harry
Potter, cant do it because they are effectively some combination of living in the wrong universe, lazy and
incompetent. So they become all Wise Moving to the Tao or some kind of kabbalistic magic or whatever and
just look down their nose at everyone who doesnt follow along. It is the story that has been told since medieval
conceptions of magic even today It is a half baked Platonism with a wand and a frock or the newer form
platonic pantheism in a lotus position.
The amazing point is they concede the point magic is known by law of analogy but continue their story book
conception and projection. Because they wanted to be Harry Potter, or Gandalf or whoever the hell WE ALL DO.
If we disagree WE ARE JUST NOT WISE enough to know better. It is just the same kind of pejorative top down
snide shit that makes us ALL ONE OF GODS CHILDREN. Whether you know it or not it is the case because they
either have faith or the esoteric term gnosis to tell them why that is so. WE CANNOT know ecstacies or what
Maslow calls peak experiences because we might simply use a deific effigy, use base desire or dare have selfish
wants Whilst they do all the things that medieval grimoires and mysticism has told them to do Which is
obviously the right thing because they said it was. It is amazing how something like transcendentalism comes
out twice and you take a version of it that tries to marry itself to Science or an analogy of Science and call it
theosophy and then repackage that as Magic and then Magick and people think it is new every time. I think I
will declare a new aeon of wisdom where if someone wants to know about the world they start with history and
psychology reading to confirm the endless and undying capacity for human stupidity and history to repeat itself.
But this insofar as I am concerned more or less is the introductory essay that people want from an author Do
you have some experience with magic, what do you think about it, philosophy? Psychology? Science? Why

should I do it? Sometimes its entire books or chapters but if it is amazing when I write just from personal
experience, talk to you just like I would in real life, even rant that I can more or less cover all that in an outline
with specific inferences in less than 3000 words in the first draft. When I try to stop hypnotizing you with my
text and sell something or trying to come off all mysterious how something like this can be cobbled together.
So Now we come to Polytheism
I am a polytheist or a Pagan, if you had to put me in a box no mater what I am guessing that would be the one.
So the awkard moment where after kicking magicians in the nuts so hard I come to the neo-pagan crowd It
might surprise you but I dont have to much to say because it is so clear to me what I like and what I dont. I like
a lot of traditional forms of paganism including Wicca my ideas of 366 days of natural observation and the
Summerlands commune a place acategorical of religious presence designed to be a place of peace, reflection,
growth,creativity and mirth I didnt make up either of those ideas. I also like the breezy atmosphere with most
pagans, the ecology agenda, some (and I mean only some) of the identity politics, I like the free flow and
diversity. I also like that part that talks of polytheisms as diversity rather than trying to lock people up in a fixed
narrative or a community. I dont really view myself in a pejorative sense to belong to a Pagan community I
did some reading, talked to some people online and in the real world and looked at some youtube videos. I am
pretty sure this has nothing to do with me and so really isnt my thing or something I want to tread in too deep.
Again I have not been an active member of this community in any real sense but I just found enough to make
me think No Thanks But I will if it is okay just share a brief reflection on why I decided it wasnt for me If I
have your permission that is
I found out obesity is apparently no longer a health issue but an ideological construct, obviously perpertrated
by an illuminati of fashionistas who were so called medical professionals and researchers.
I found out there are no biological differences between males and females, obviously this is a womans mystery
of the divine feminine because I am a man and cant work that one out.
I found out that I have a negative aura the more questions I ask, obviously this means I should stop thinking or I
will never be clean.
I found out the goddess specifically called me to this one shaman so for 50 dollars she could cleanse me mind,
body and spirit obviously that was a bargain.
I found out that people criticize others simply on the basis of what they call their polytheism rather than
discussing or debating substantive points or ideas obviously there is a game called tramp stamp paganism that
is cool with the kids.
I found out that girls cant give away their virginity but it will always be taken from them by a man, this was
meant for young girls in their tweens (10-14) and was obviously empowering in ways mysterious to me but I
still felt quite angry. Obviously it is because I am a man and not any possible genuine empathy to what is
taught to minors. Obviously a spiritual teacher should not be copeable in the same way a school teacher is
because one is spiritual/wisdom and the other is just stuff/knowledge.
I found out all about peoples deities, elements, how they identify and that not a one of the twelve I asked could
tell me where north is in broad daylight with the giant fireball called the sun traversing from east to west. Only
half could tell me where east was still in broad daylight obviously they are aware of nature in ways I could
never be.
I found out about witches who had been on a self improving and self healing path for twenty years trying to fix
themselves for deep seeded psychological trauma and I obviously felt sickened for reasons I couldnt quite
explain and felt a curious mixture of empathy and sympathy as I walked away in silence.
I found out after I voiced some possible concerns that if it is not positive filled nobody really wants to hear it
and that this was obviously not a minority.
I found out everyones opinion including these little numbers I observed are equally as valid as anyone elses.
The relativism that puts a 14 year old in his or her place for making fun of someones familiar is a fish or
because they called themselves a Christian wiccan answers all criticisms for the community. I know this
because everybody said the same thing It is only an opinion you are entitled to yours I am entitled to mine but
everyone respects everyone else. To which I asked including some of these examples and despite a troubled
look on some faces the answer was still the same yes After investigating I identified the strains of Wicca
and Paganism that strung out of ecofeminism, identity politics, contained within it pluralism, positive thinking
movement and a whole mess of other stuff. I could find these things even in books that people pay money for,
to support this community and its professional teachers.
It was then dear reader I knew the Pagan community or at least the portion I stumbled onto which included
many of these observations I obviously knew the community wasnt for me. I want no part in it, I wont give the
pejorative notion of paganism my acceptance nor do I want the whole communities acceptance for myself and
this would be my opinion .

As a parting gift let me give you a reading a prediction of what is to come One day in the near future
Atheism/Scientism/Consumerism is going to bury monotheism not all the way dead but continue to get more
numbers and more or less loosen what they might call the Christian stranglehold Once Christianity
stranglehold is loosen there will be less money given to charity and community service, there will be a rise in
existential angst, Hollywood and the media will get a hard on and politicians will view religion as a weakned
business partner not as per the agreement for the Christian state or the land of the free... Of course the
atheists wont pack up and go home but look for some other targets, given they already started on homeopathy
and its connections to things like New Age, Spiritualism and what other books do you find in the
spiritual/metaphysical bookstores? What books do new age book suppliers also make ?
So after they find this multifaceted faith and are looking for a fight what will happen Well of course the
vanguard will be the relativists and leftist politic specialists. Initially after trying to pin down these religions as
religions of the book, groups and being met with relatively respectful and perhaps strong ethical arguments in
ecological, identarian, and economic, sociocultural terms I will bet you will feel pretty good about yourself
Then they will look closer and retort examples of science in clean energy, reforestry science etc They will
raise you the cosmos of knock on wood real nature of Science vs the elements, they will bring in the feminism
that points to ethnic minorities of other stuff over seas doing genital mutilation, they might question the
surreptitious morality regarding cursing If you believe you can push me under a bus hand or not what
difference will it make etc both are violence They will also use guilt complex, victim mentality adhomenims
true or not and be looking for blatant absurdity and stupidity to poke holes in. Believe it or not if used correctly
this might actually change public perception of Wicca/Paganism and stuff. Whilst the community has many
capable members do you notice that three of the most soulful energetic and prolific community members are
quite old ? Scott Cunningham, Raymond Buckland and Star Hawk three whom Id respect and three whom I
think reasonable enough but will the next generation? Will these three be around to protect the faith for the
next generation? Please for the love of god someone hide Silver in the cupboard in case Dawkins finds her
Those wise enough to patch a roof before it leaks will more easily endure the storm. I have no malice but after
reading the essential teaching of Zen Master Hakuin and considering all the diversity and in all the ways the
same Paganism, I know I cant do anything. Further I just read the Eddas about one year ago to my own
reading and no other did I come to Norse Polytheism. I am not nor do I consider myself reliving history more
than what a modern musician playing old jazz might. They share some notes but much of it is improvisational in
different places in different times. It doesnt mean there is no common ground but specifically means my
hermeneutic is my own. So with about six months readings I really mean what I said, did some research didnt
like it and now from the pejorative community I am going to bounce.
