ProformaforSubmissionofProposal
AFacultyDevelopmentProgramme(FDP)isdesignedtotrainanddevelopprofessionalsinentrepreneurshipdevelopmentsothat
theycanactasresourcepersonsinguidingandmotivatingyoungS&Tpersonstotakeupentrepreneurshipasacareer.Through
each FDP, 1520 faculty members of Science and Engineering colleges, Polytechnics and Entrepreneurship Development
Organisationsaretrainedforadurationof23weeks.
The FDPs provide inputs on process and practice of entrepreneurship development, communication and
interpersonalskills,creativity,problemsolving,achievementmotivationtraining,inputsonresource and
knowledge industries. The training methodology includes case studies, group discussion, games and
simulationexercise,fieldvisitsandclassroomlectures.

ProgrammeObjective
FacultyDevelopmentProgramme(FDP) aims at equipping teachers with skills and knowledge that are essential for inculcating
entrepreneurialvaluesinstudentsandguidingandmonitoringtheirprogresstowardsentrepreneurialcareer.
Whocanconduct?
Institutes / organisation engaged in entrepreneurship training having vast experience in the field of entrepreneurship
development.TheorganisationshouldhaveinhousetrainingexpertsforconductingFDPs.
TargetGroup
TeachersofScience&TechnologyColleges/Institutions,personsfromtheorganisationengagedinentrepreneurshipdevelopment.
Duration
2weeks(preferablyresidentialprogramme).
