Out of Ain El Beeah keenness of developing slums and informal cities
and propagating to a greener quality of life to informal societies, as well
as, raising their environmental awareness, Ain El Beeah Association
established first prototype for one of a kind environmental center in
Egypt in neighborhood called Kozzika in South Cairo. Being the first to
achieve the complex integration of fighting lots of kinds of pollution,
change of weather, energy deficiency and developing slums. The
center embraces lots of technologies, activities and real life working
systems of waste and recycling management.

And many other various environmental activities to demonstrate and

tutor people and neighborhood families and advice about the
importance of waste and the value of protecting those material in
addition of producing others or generating new energy source with
simple mechanisms and various techniques.
On this note, we (Ain El Beeah Team) started validating and running
many workshops from the first week of the hub opening with
concentration on children as we completed many workshops for
schools in Kozzika and Tourah under the new initiative of "Green Child"
for greener life. We decided on the age range of training programs and
awareness as the following:

Our Drive Strategy

The intention of this comprehensive hub and initiatives on going is to
orient and rehabilitate the society to face the national pollution
problems as well as the global environmental risks that Egypt is
currently encountering in order to act, save and protect Egypt in
particular and the Earth in general. Especially that the Environmental
Center is located in slum area in Cairo in which there is lack of
awareness and catastrophic pollution so we wanted to hit both birds
with one rock to attain both (Development of Slums and Development of
Sustainable Environment)
