(broiler & laying hens), cattle and dairy cows, pigs, goats, rabbits, ducks, do

lles, Comoros Islands, Mayotte, Reunion Island and Madagascar.

Meaders Feeds Ltd (MFL), started its operations in February 1994 at Riche Terre
Road, Riche Terre. The company was created in 1992 by two local promoters namely
Rogers & Co. Ltd and Socit Wih Montocchio & Co (today known as Inicia Ltd specialis
t in the production and distribution of eggs) to manufacture animal feeds for th
e local market.
The first sales were made under the brand name Meadow . The company increased its s
ales from around 10,000 MT in its first year of operation to around 30,000 MT in
1998. In 1999 with the reshuffling of shareholding and the entry of Innodis (ex
-Happy World Foods Ltd) as a shareholder/customer, sales reached the 55,000 MT m
ark. With the increasing market demand of quality animal feeds both on the local
and regional market, MFL made massive investments in 2012 to double its product
ion capacity.
With a total of 128 employees in 2013, the company s local and regional sales exce
eded 80,000 MT. Using the latest feed processing technology of Van Aarsen, the w
orldwide leader in feed manufacturing equipment, the company has positioned itse
lf as the most modern animal feed mill in the African region and comforts its vi
sion to be the preferred animal feed producer in the region.

rt from Spesfeed and Provimi, the latter being the world number one in the anima
l feed industry. Feeds produced are in mash, crumbles, pellets and extruded and
are delivered in bags or in bulk. The company has a fleet of 6 lorries so as to
offer a rapid and efficient delivery service.

In order to satisfy its customers, Meaders Feeds Ltd supplies an efficient and p
ersonalized service through its technical salesmen. As local customers, it has I
nnodis Ltd, the biggest broiler producer and Inicia Ltd, le biggest egg producer
and more than 400 small, medium and big farmers.
