The following notification will be published in the Extraordinary Issue
of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated 16.11.2015.
NOTIFICATION
Whereas, it has been brought to the notice of the Government that,
the Peace Memorial Hall in Ananthapuram Town, Ananthapuram District as
described in the Annexure hereunder is considered to be of Archaeological
and Historical importance and Government are of the opinion that, the said
peace Memorial Hall in Ananthapuram Town, Ananthapuram District requires
protection under the Andhra Pradesh Ancient and Historical Monuments and
Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 (Act VII of 1960).

Whereas, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh intends to declare the said
ancient hall i.e., Peace Memorial Hall in Ananthapuram Town, Ananthapuram
District to be a protected monument under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of
the said Act;

Notice is therefore, hereby given in pursuance of subsection (1) of
Section 4 of the said Act that persons interested in the said Peace Memorial
Hall in Ananthapuram Town, Ananthapuram District may send their
objections or suggestions if any, for the proposed declaration of the said
Peace Memorial Hall in Ananthapuram Town, Ananthapuram District to be a
protected monument, within a period of two months from the date of
publication of this notification in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette. Any objections
or suggestions which may be received within aforesaid period will be duly
considered by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Objections or Suggestions
should be addressed to the Secretary to Government, Youth Advancement,
Tourism and Culture (Tourism) Department, Andhra Pradesh Secretariat,
Hyderabad 500 022.
