The Busy Person’s Retreat
Even though it’s February, a lot of students are already swamped.
The UCC has an opportunity for students for a mini-retreat. The
retreat is February 7, 8, and 9, beginning with brunch after the
11:30 Mass. Students will commit to meeting with a spiritual
director, praying daily, and going to Mass daily. It’s free! For
more information, pick up registration forms at the front desk.
Communion Outreach Ministers Needed
Do you have two hours a month to share in the service of the
Lord? Well, that is all you need to be part of the Communion
Outreach Ministry. Communion Outreach Ministers are needed
to take Holy Communion to homebound parishioners, patients at
St. David’s Hospital and Heart Hospital. If you are interested in
being a part of this wonderful and rewarding ministry, contact

Vocations Talk
Seminarian Tom Gibbons, CSP and featured presenter for St.
Austin’s Twilight Retreat will be telling his vocation story during
Carbos on February 10. Grab a plate of spaghetti and come join
us!
Paulist Vocation Retreat
For men who want to explore the call to priesthood and religious
life, the Paulist Vocation Retreat is Fri. Feb.12-Sun. Feb.14 at the
North American Paulist Center in Washington DC. Registration
is open to men who are attending or have attended college. The
retreat begins at 5pm on Friday until 3pm on Sunday, with
lodging and meals provided by the Paulist Fathers. The retreat is
free and assistance with transportation can also be arranged with
Fr. Ed or Fr. Jamie. Register by email at vocations@paulist.org.
Project Andrew
For Catholic men (ages 16-45) interested in learning more about
discernment, the priesthood, and seminary life, Project Andrew
will be on Sat. Feb. 13 from 10am-2pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral
(203 E.10th St., Austin). The morning includes testimonials
from priests and seminarians as well as prayer, Mass, and lunch.
Free parking is available in the Donahue Center parking garage
or at the Public Employees Credit Union parking lot. For more
