Job Summary:
This career opportunity is with Wipro Technologys Oracle Emerging Applications
Practice within the Business Application Services division. This is a strategic unit created to cater to latest
ERP market trend. Division is tasked with ensuring that we offer the right technology solutions to our
clients by leveraging our strong and proven industry expertise.
We are recruiting highly motivated and accomplished individuals from top tier universities for Finance &
Accounting. Candidates should be able to clearly demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in F&A
consulting. Additionally, candidates must thrive in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment and IT.
Those hired will join a successful team with a broad and deep range of experience across business and
technology solution areas
Roles and Responsibilities:
Consultants will be trained on finance modules of Oracle Package Applications like E-Business suite ERP,
JD Edwards, Oracle Finance Cloud and PeopleSoft based on business plan. The training will include
exhaustive hands on project Case Study based work which will equip you to deal with real life project
situations. You will be expected to develop sound techno functional knowledge & hands on skills of the
product to be able to become part of IT solution implementation team of Wipro.
Key Roles:
Junior Functional Consultant Finance
o You will begin as junior consultant and work with project delivery teams to develop
deep understanding of IT solution implementation process.
o Analyze , explore different solution options and recommend the preferred option
o Make presentations to customer and internal stakeholders on the solution
o Create detailed functional specifications as input for our systems analysis and design
teams
Senior Functional Consultant - Finance
o Understanding of customer problems and providing them with right fit modern F&A
solutions which are future proof. During the project lifecycle, role would involve
Requirements Gathering and Analysis (interfacing with Customer F&A Leaders) to
understand their business specificities and then ensuring all the requirements are
translated into a working solution which meets and exceeds customer objectives of
Business Value Realization.
o Implement a structured approach for capturing business requirements and translating
them into System or Process Solutions
o Interact with customer and articulate Industry Trends and possible process
improvements
Role Demands
B.Com./M.Com./ICWA certification
Relevant work-experience or industry experience in Oracle ERP or F&A process consulting or
Finance/Accounting Organization- will be advantage.
