RAJGAD-it was a wonderful trek.(organised by nitin bodas-v-adventures).

14 of us(including me n SHraDdha{she was sad coz she had jst then lost her ring!!
hehehehe}) started frm SwarGate at around 2:30 bus(pretty late than the
scheduled departure....) themahamandal S T bus to the village called
Gunjawane(footsteps of RajGard). Was having fun teasing shraddha all the time in
the Bus.2 hrs and we were there at Gunjawane..We 14 had our NIMBU PAANNI and
started our trek upwards towards the chor darwaajaa at 16:00 hrs on Saturday 1st
Of April(hopin that we dont get fooled).The Trek was a bit simple-lot of straight and
flat way in between and the climb up was also not that steeep.It was fun chatting
and teasing shraddha all the way.The other guys is the group were also gr8.It was
still not possible to remember all the names..Yet,I was climbing jst asking everybody
wat they did and other usual stuff.Listening to the sound of the WIND,sounds that
the stones made wen i threw them in the dry bushes in the valley,we climbed the
fort in jst 1:35 minutes.The last part of the trek when we were almost near the chor
darwaja was an interesting one.The rock patch climb holding the railing was
amazing!!(moti ki phat gayi thi..hehe)Within no time we reached the top and were
at the padmawati lake.We went up the padmawati temple and sat for some time
and went to get the water at ghodejinn (lake for the horses to drink).The wall from
where we could see torna just behind the temple was amazing!! The land down
looked simply beautiful and coz of the dry brown grass and direct sunrays..it all
looked GOLDEN in colour.Soon we rushed to to have some good snaps of
the sunset.We sat there watching the sun go down and girish and nitin talkin about
theway to torana..After somesnaps n water frm ghode jinn we reached back to the
padmawati temple.
Hmmm...wat to do next??SO we started with some candle n sticks game n then
memory game.!! thnx to the memory game..i can atleast remember the names of
our teamnitin,rupesh,ujwala,shraddha,chanda,shashank,amol,sanjay,chetan,girish,uday,vive
k and me..hehe!! Soon after that we started with antakshari..mr Girish came out to
be a good singer and all old songs!! also,i never knew shraddha ko itne gaaane pata
hai.hehe.(Though i was too bugged up with the loud chaos that was
there..hehe)then,we had our dinner.So sweet of shr to make those parathas..she is
simply too good!!
After our dinner we left for a walk and sat at the padmawati machi's "sadar"
chatting and people talking about thier experiences.One frm Uday uncle was too
good! After that Ujwala aunty also tld us abt her experiences of her treks in the
north.I was jst looking at the stars and wat jst wanted to lay dwn there forever.The
wind was so cold and it was so dark and silent!!
We came back to the temple around 10:30 to find a group singing some nice
songs.Cold wind,All silence jst the sweet tunes they were humming.After soem good
performances from them and girish and Ujwala(aaj jaaane ki jiddh na karo..) frm our
group everybody dhire dhire went to sleep.Me n shr sat chatting at the door..and we
talked so much........and then good nite..(moti ko raat bhar thand lag rahi tha..n
kharaaate bhi le rahi thi..)We cud only hear people snorring and the wind all nite!!

2nd APril:
We woke up around 6:30-7:00 and after getting fresh we had coffee and bread jam
and then left to explore the fort.We marched straight towards BALE KILLA..a
wonderful killa at the top!! Climbing the rock patches we reached the top at the
main door of balle killa and then photo sesssssiooonnn..waiting for the snaps!!We
saw the ponds and remains of the palace and then nitin sir showed us all the fort
which we cud see frm Rajgad.they were so many,,dnt even remember them
all..hehe..After having the cold water and sitting for sometime we started walking
towards ..We sat at the needle hole from some time.(a hole in the rock
caused due to erosion by wind) is a class piece of a double wall
architecture.After all thos santabanta jokes and PJs and watching all the chor
darwajas,small doors and all we left for the temple to start our journey dwn.
Trekking dwn the hill was fun-again teasing shraddha and this time it was chanda
also.I jst irritated both of them with my PJs... and yes..22 shraddha slipped 22 times
n fell down 3 times during the whole trek!![:)] We reached dwn soon in no time and
then had or lunch slept at the temple,played cricket,and sme tp waiting for the bus
which was late by almost 1 hour.
Rajgad wasa gr8 experience-a trel with so many new people..but it was fun to be
with them and listen to all and know them all dhire dhire..hope we do some more
good treks together!! Also plannin to join rupesh sir for ROCK CLIMBING soon..i m jst
too excited abt it !!
