ArcelorMittal taxonomy is an extension of the

Intermat where we have added noun modifier
coming from AM South Africa, from AM CIS and
some from Corporate.
In this taxonomy we tried to use as much as
possible numeric attribute (length, weight,
diameter) to minimize the number of list of values
to be maintained.
As of now, AM USA requesters can continue to use
intermat classification. This will be role of GDA or
also MDS to populate correctly ArcelorMittal
taxonomy.
Other segments of AM will use onlt AM taxonomy.
Infrastructure has been resized.
A lot of improvement has been done in july on the
taxonomy and manufacturer search.
The button has been removed

It is the requestor ID but currently it is always

developed in order to prevent the shortfalls of the
earlier deployed search application called "Material
Search/Change" application.
