The first early intervention

Romania

Bucharest, November 26th 2013 HelpAutism Association,


ssociation, with the support of Enel Cuore
Onlus, inaugurates the first early intervention and diagnosis center for autism in Romania. The
center, renovated and fully equipped thanks to a 50.000 euro donation from Enel Cuore, aims at
increasing the degree of recovery for children diagnosed with autism, and improve their chances of
social integration.
Starting today, 25 children between 1 and 4 years, with risk of developing Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD), will daily benefit from free complex psychological evaluation, as well as early
intervention and individualized therapy programs at the HelpAutism Center.
We have the duty to protect and aid children, as they represent the future of the society we
are now living in. Education and social care for children development are two of the main pillars of a
healthy society. We embraced with enthusiasm the initiative of HelpAutism Association, as it can
make a difference for children in need,
need covering a social care area that registers shortcomings.

The center includes various types of recovery programs such as kinetic-therapy,

therapy, arts and crafts, while the
he parents of autistic children will benefit from free counseling
services. In addition, free training courses addressed to the teaching staff (kindergarten and schools
teachers) will be organized. More

and more families that face a similar challenge will be able to
benefit, free of charge, from specialized services, as part of the associations mission.

Monday to Friday between 9.00 19.00
