As we
know that, the majority of the people nowadays always use social networking in their daily life,
every day, every second and every minute they are exposed to the social networking. In a
Facebook-sponsored study conducted by IDC, a global market intelligence research firm,
researchers found that the average person checks Facebook 13.8 times a day for about two
minutes and 22 seconds each time. And thats only Facebook. Add in Twitter, LinkedIn,
Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Google Plus and more.Moreover,Social networking is affects
people health especially for the teenagers nowadays because they dont take their meals on time
and take proper rest connect with social networking. This is because; the teenagers are very
exciting in connecting in social media rather than take proper rest and eat on time. There are
many reasons and things that encourage teenagers to connect with social networking. It can be
bad and it can be good for the teenagers as well as all people in the world. They use social
networking in a wrong way, such as cyber bullying, online harassment and many more and for
the good things are, maybe by connecting to the social networking, teenagers can get more and
more information about what they search all over the world, it may improve teenagers
education. Besides that, the teenagers also take excessive amount of coffee and tea to remain
active and stay focused on what they are searching and connecting in social media. This activity
may cause them negatively on their health. The overuse of this activity on a daily basis has many
negative effects on the physical and mental health because they are too lethargic and
unmotivated to create contact with the people in person. Yet, to make sure that the teenagers have
a balanced schedule on connecting to social networking and studying for academic, the parents
should monitor their teenagers to be more mature and be more creative about scheduling the
teenagers time. Besides that, the parents also should be on guard on their teenagers, whether they
used the appropriate time or not connecting to social networking. For an example, the parents
used to do Facebook account to see their children or teenagers give more time for Facebook too
much.
In conclusion ,we should limit our time using social networking and spend more time
with family. Parents also must control the use of handphone or another gadget that connecting
with social networking at home. This is because it can give negative impact such as influenced
the relationship with family members, risk of fraud and affect peoples health.
