Position: Associate/Senior Associate

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team that develops foundational capabilities enabling
enhanced analytics and measurement, critical to shaping integrated marketing strategies and
providing inferences to the business within the Tata group companies.
The incumbent will be part of the Marketing Predictive Analytics, Digital Analytics, Data Sciences,
Advanced Visualization, Insights & Experimentation team and will report to the Senior Manager.
He/she will be an individual contributor working on multiple data sciences, advanced visualization and
data management initiatives across multiple companies and industries leveraging traditional and big
data. The incumbent will have the unique opportunity to witness the application of analytics across
multiple industry verticals. Close partnership with business and the senior leadership of multiple Tata
Companies will enable a clear understanding of the business perspectives and the application of
analytics for solving real business problems.
marketing planning functions, customer segmentation and targeting, product offerings, developing
CRM strategies, multi-channel analysis, management and optimization, web analytics, efforts and
track/evaluation of marketing programs for different portfolios. The work would primarily involve the
use of customer level data and application of statistical tools and techniques.
Job Responsibilities

Developing interferences and insights around customer behaviour and profitable growth
scenarios
Design and develop marketing strategies across customer life cycle from acquisition to
attrition management including customer contact management strategies
Monitor portfolio profitability and other key performance indicators in order to recommend
strategies that align with the business objectives for profitability growth
Develop CRM strategies and monitor performance of strategies/campaigns and align with
business objectives
Develop and design strategies across product management, customer life stage, product
offering and pricing

Requirements/Skill sets

Must-have technical skills


o Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT etc.)
o Experience in statistical programming tool such as R/SAS etc.
o Basic understanding of marketing strategy tools like logistics, clustering and
segmentation
Must-have soft skills
o Problem Solving and lateral thinking
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Good interpersonal, problem solving, reasoning and analytical skills
o Ability of depicting the results of a statistical analysis in an easy-to-understand
manner
o Detailed oriented, organized, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously
Good to have soft skills
o In-depth analysis of online traffic for the Web, mobile and other

channels to make recommendations for improvements in sales and


customer experience

Education and Experience

Preferably a Bachelors (0-2 Years) or Masters in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics.


Experience in Analytics domain preferred.
