LESSON OBJECTIVE(S): Students will be able to read and identify the vocabulary words and phrases in ALC book
25, lesson 2, page 48-49/HW-12, with 80% accuracy in reading the notes and selecting the answers exercises.

answering multiple choice questions. Write and
discuss any possible answers on the board.

Books closed. Explain that answering multiple


choice questions will help Ss to improve/derive
meaning from texts or group of words that might
not be a complete sentence. Give them an
example with the exercises from the last lesson
(about taking notes while listening to a text) and
compare them with the multiple choice questions.

Books opened /p. HW-18, ex. L/. Read the title of


the text. Elicit some answers of what the
paragraph might be about. Then make each
student read a part from the text. Divide Ss in 3
pairs. Each pair should create an outline of the
text, that consists of:
- One main topic (title)
- Subtopics (ex: A, B, C, etc.)
- Details for each subtopic (ex: 1, 2, 3, etc.)
Make each pair write their outline at the board.
Discuss and compare.
During the whole activity, the teacher should
monitor, give support, correct pronunciation, and
use of appropriate grammatical structures if
necessary.
