Gage Bias and Linearity study - helps to show graphically and statistically whether the data
set has bias and linearity problem
Gage R&R - both attribute and variable type
Attribute Sampling - based on AQL/LTPD, alpha, beta, identify Sampling rule, Max AOQ,
ATI etc.
ANOVA - two factor without interaction (when each interactions has only one observation,
example randomized block design) - similar to excel two factor without repetition
Note: As two factor analysis is not present in MINITAB 17, you may use multifactor analysis
to get the same result
ANOVA - multifactor without repetition (use 'space' between factors)
ANOVA - single/two factor/multifactor with repetition (use 'separator' | between factors to
generate interaction effect)
Learn to interpret Main effects plot and Interaction plot (full)
Some of these tools are also available with R/Excel directly or indirectly. I have no objection
on use of R/Excel as long as required results, graphs are generated, shown in the answer file and
correctly interpreted.
You need to know how to 'stack' and 'unstack' columns in Minitab.
-----------------Exam rules:
I will mail the excel files 30 minutes before the exam (there will be multiple sets). Please
download all excel files before coming to exam hall (after that Wi-Fi will be OFF). The excel
files will be password protected. I will give your file number and password during the exam.
Once you get the file number, rename your file as your Roll No. and start your work on the
same Excel file.
Submit only one excel file as your answer sheet (the same excel file which is given as your
question file). Copy it in pen drive and submit the pen drive. Any other file (even Minitab files)
will not be considered for evaluation.
Save the file in your computer and do not work on that file after the exam is over. I may ask
you to mail the file again. Do not change the properties of the excel file.
If any BLUETOOTH is recognized ON during the exam (even unintentionally), the student
will not be allowed to continue the exam and will be given ZERO out of 20.
-----------------Just note: Exam time is 1 hour 30 minutes (date: 16.11.2015, from 2:30 PM).
