A new era of world powers has arisen but what will the world become of it?

On November 5th, 2020, the European Union was formed to unite and strengthen
Europe against an impending Russian threat. In response, the Russia Federation and
Peoples Republic of China formed a military alliance of their own that is now known
as the Eastern Powers. China agreed to this treaty in response to increase of
NATO naval exercises in the Pacific. A second cold war soon began with competing
powers being NATO and the Eastern Powers.
On April 19th, 2022 a civil war in China began between three major factions:
The Peoples Republic of China supporting a Communist Party, Republic of China
supporting a Democratic Party, and the Imperial Restoration Organization trying to
restore the Imperial throne. The IRO used the current heir of the Imperial
Throne, Prince Jin Zhao Li, as a figurehead and representative of the faction. This
turned into a Proxy war between Russia, supporting the Peoples Republic and
NATO supporting the Republic. While, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and North Korea
supporting the Imperials interested in the idea of restoring Monarchies to the
world.
A year later in 2023, South Korea elected a new President named Sung-Lee,
who soon after his election united North and South Korea as the Greater Korean
Republic by assassinating Kim Jong-Un a few months later. Lee used the military
power of the North and economic strength of the South to revolutionize Korea.
Japan started to grow cautious of their new neighbor, aggravating Korea-Japan
relations. Around the same time Venezuela, Chile and Brazil consolidated into The
Federation of Americas. The Federation soon controlled the entire South American
continent through propaganda and physiological persuasion of neighboring countries
with a few coup dtats on more resistant nations. Soon it became a regional power
in Latin America and the Americas as a whole, even challenging US power in the
hemisphere.
With so much happening at once and the threat of Chinese factions
targeting nuke stocks for warfare, NATO and the United Nations could not keep
up with the changing world and called a summit to ensure that peace and stability
and that nukes would not be launched. The Federation was not recognized by
NATO and was not permitted to attend the summit. Disgruntled, they began to

hate the 1st World, especially USA and NATO. All South American nations were
scrapped off the UN members list in the process.
At the end of the meeting the nations agreed to stop supporting any Chinese
faction and let them fight it out while taking care of nuclear threats. The Russian
Federation objected this but without Chinas veto, they couldnt do anything. The
GKR and Saudi Arabia refused which resulted in these countries to be expelled
from the UN. The US President William Smith ordered Operation Doomsday to
secure the nukes in China. Other NATO nations assisted and sent troops to
retrieve remaining nuclear stockpiles.
On February 10th, 2025, the 2nd Chinese Civil War finally ended with a
shocking victory for the IRO creating the Chinese Federation with an Imperial
Court as the council for the Imperial Monarch, the leader of the Chinese
Federation. Since Jin Yuzhang died during the war which hands the title of
emperor to his eldest son Jin Zhao Li establishing the Jin Dynasty of the Chinese
Federation. Surprisingly the Emperor decides China should stay allied with Russia,
increasing relations with the new nation and the Russians. Six months later an
unexpected meteorite shower stroke the poles, which seem to have deactivated all
nukes in the world. Later scientific studies have found a likely culprit as some
meteorites were made of an unknown element they are now calling Element 120.
Now with nukes out of the equation, the world powers have to result to
conventional warfare as there is not enough time or resources to build any more
for the events that are to follow.
In 2026, Shia populations in Syria, Iraq and Iran were inspired by
revolutions and formations of new nations in the world. A year later they revolted
and took over the local governments, in an event known as the Summer Revolution,
and established the Persian Caliphate ruled by Sultan and Caliph Muhammad Hasad.
Lots of the remaining Sunni population migrated from the Persian borders while
Shia from around the world moved into their new home. The population of the
Persian Caliphate reached 130 million by the end of the month.
This new formation of a regional Shia majority power angered Saudi Arabia
and war was soon declared three month after Persias formation, starting the
Saudi-Perisan War. NATO saw this as an opportunity gain influence over the region
with Iraq and Iran gone. They wanted to help shape this new nation to their

benefit and began supporting the Caliphate with weapons, vehicles and equipment
to raise an army formidable enough to challenge the Arabs. US also secretly asked
for Israel to help in return will receive territories in Arabia. Israel agreed and
declared war on Saudi Arabia the next week for support of Persia. When the West
did nothing about Israel, conspiracies of NATOs true intentions sparked and were
exploited by many of their enemies and rivals in the process.
Egypt, Pakistan and Afghanistan joined in after news of the Israel helping
Persia, forcing Persia to fight on two fronts. Emperor Jin Zhao Li of the Chinese
Federation are also supporting the Saudi Arabians, returning the favor from their
previous Civil War. Russia remained neutral but threatened fromer USSR countries
such as Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan not to get involved.
Since the US was involved, India saw this as a chance to gain trust and allies
from the west and threatened Pakistan not to intervene or India will get involved
as well. In response Pakistan held their assault on the eastern Persian border and
invaded India instead, thinking it was best to strike India before they have a
chance to mobilize. This started the Paki-Indian War. This weakened the eastern
assault with mostly Afghans on the field. This was the most chaos the region has
ever seen since the Gulf wars and War on Terror when the area finally stabilized in
2017.
Meanwhile in Nigeria, a group calling themselves the Shadow Legion claims
they will unite Africa under one developed nation and will never be laughed at by
the 1st Worlds again. In months their propaganda and ideals gained followers from
the populations in West Africa, especially Nigeria and Niger. The local governments
have marked the Shadow Legion as terrorist in response and are now hunting their
followers down. In retaliation, the Legion claim the government are traitors to
Africa and will be brought down. This would lead to an event we know today as the
Shadow Rebellion of 2027.
Around the same time a scientific study in Tokyo and Berlin has discovered
that they could use Element 120 to invent new technologies. They continued their
research and built the first energy shield in human history. Like a medieval shield
it was hand held and used to protect men from projectile and melee attacks. This
led to military funding into Element 120 by the world powers and was soon a new
norm to replace riot shields. The funding also led to the invention of new exo-suit

armor with durability that could withstand several types of rifle, pistol, MG and
carbine rounds up to 2 magazines. Unknowingly, the Greater Korean Republic sent
spies to steal samples of Element 120 to work on improving technologies of their
own and secretly trading it with the Chinese.
Back to the Middle East and Central Asia, Persia has lost former Syrian
territories to Saudi Arabia and the conflict has turned into a stalemate near the
former Iraqi border. In Israel however, has taken some territories from the
Arabs but lost some to the Egyptians. Sultan Muhammad Hasad formed a plan to
moved most of the troops to the eastern front to focus on Afghanistan and
Pakistan, to flank them and meet up with the Indian army. This however would
sacrifice the defense thats put up the stalemate on the western front; Hasad
expects them to loose territory at a slow rate but will give them enough time to
meet up with India. The plan was going to be executed later the year.
By 2028, Afghanistan and Pakistan were defeated and became part of the
Persian Caliphate. This was a turning point during the war where all Persian forces
could now concentrate on the western front and slowly gained their Iraq and Syrian
territories back. While everyone was distracted by the Middle East, the Greater
Korean Republic started invading the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and the rest
of the West Indies; they controlled the entire region by June of 2028. US
threatened war on the GKR if they did not return these countries to their rightful
governments, however pressure from Russia and China prevented them in doing so
immediately and the war in the Middle East was already keeping them occupied.
Japan on the other hand grew paranoid and raised a large military; they ignored
their post-WWII agreements in doing so. NATO was okay with this as they saw it
as self-defense from the GKR.
On October 28th, 2029, the war finally ended with most of the Middle East
under Persian control as the Persians conquered nations that were not even part of
the war. Israel was given Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan at the end of the war.
Persian-Indian relations deteriorated when they were given no lands, but they did
have better relations with the West which is what they were aiming for in the
first place.
