2.1 Relationship between Manuals


Although each manual has its own particular purpose, they are closely related to each
other. Relationship between the manuals is the key for the user to understand the product
manuals.
Use the manuals for a project as follows:
1. Use the Product Description , Feature Guide , and Hardware Description to learn the
system principles, hardware structure and functions.
2. Use the Configuration Manual (CLI) to configure or debug the device. During the
configuration and debugging process, refer to the Command Reference.
3. After the device is configured and debugged, use the Configuration Manual (CLI),
Maintenance Manual, and Alarm and Notification Message Reference to configure
and maintain the device.
Before using the manuals, read the Documentation Guide first to know the documentation
structure, manual functions, content, and usage.

2.2 Network Planning Phase


As the principle description manuals, the Product Description and Feature Guide describes
the system structure of the ZXA10 C300 Optical Access Convergence Equipment. They
provide the technical basis for other manuals.
The Hardware Description describes the system hardware structure and functions. It
provides the basic hardware information for other manuals.

2.3 Service Configuration Phase


The Command Reference and Configuration Manual (CLI) are operation guides of the
device. The Configuration Manual (CLI) guides the user to perform configuration through
commands. When performing configuration through commands, refer to the Command

Reference. The Command Reference describes the command syntax, purpose, usage
guidelines, mode, example, and related commands.

2.4 Network Maintenance Phase


The Maintenance Manual helps the maintenance personnel perform maintenance,
upgrade, expansion, and cutover on the device.
