Today invitation is: Prepare the way for the Lord!!!!!
How can we prepare ourselves for Him?
Everything in life needs preparation, especially the ones that are important for us,
when someone that we love is coming to our house, when we start a new job, when
we move to a new place...
And advent that is a time to prepare ourselves for Christmas, how are you going to
prepare this year for the coming of the Lord?
As many things in life is not about big things but the small things that if we are awake,
ready could make a change in our lives and the lives of the one that are around us,
like forgiving, giving a hand, been patient, What is God invitation for you this
advent?
Whatever God may be inviting you this advent, be sure of something, you are not
alone, He is with you giving you all what you need to be ready.

REFLECTIONS ON COP21- PARIS 2015
- It was a great privilege to be one of the organisers of
the Cycle Ride London to Paris to be present at the
Climate Change Conference COP21.
- We are at a very historic moment as this Conference
takes place.
- Our generation will be judged by future generations
depending on the outcome of COP21.
- There is no 'hiding place' nor any excuses for inaction.
- The International Leaders have a serious responsibility
to make sure that binding agreements are made
internationally to ensure lower carbon emission is endured for each country.
- The facts are proven that our way of living has a serious effect on Global Warming.
- Climate Change affects every person and creature on our planet.
- Each individual, each government have a responsibility to play our part in saving
our Common Home.
- This is the clear message from Pope Francis in his letter to the world, Laudato Si, on
the care of our common home.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR
ADULTS (RCIA): Rite of Christian
Initiation for Adults (RCIA): We welcome
Adelina, Dee, James, Juliana, Lydia and
Mehmet to our 6pm Mass as we are
celebrate the Rite of Acceptance into the
Order of Catechumens of our RCIA group.
The next session on the 19th Dec.15 from
3:30pm-5.45pm, followed by 6pm Mass.

YOUTH ACTIVITIES IN THE PARISH

FAMILY MASS: There will be a rehearsal on
the 13th December after 11am Mass for an
hour to practice hymns for the Christmas
Eve Mass, and that if any child would like to
play to bring their recorders with them.
EUCHARISTIC MINISTER TRAINING
If you will like to be part of the Eucharistic
Minister team we will have a training
session TODAY 6th and 13th, 20th December
from 10 10:50 am in the Parish Hall.

book your place in the Training Course.
ADULT FORMATION IN THE PARISH
The Bible Timeline is a fascinating study
that takes you on a journey through the
entire Bible.
Next session: Tuesday 8th December at
7:30pm or Wednesday 9th December at
10am in the Parish Hall.
PARISH ADVENT RETREAT:
We invite everyone (adults, teenagers and
children) to join our Parish Advent Retreat
TODAY, Sunday 6th December from
12.30pm 2.30pm in the Parish Hall. A
perfect way to prepare ourselves to receive
Gods gift of Love and Peace. After Mass
there will be a light lunch of Soup and
Bread available for those who want it. The
children activities will start at the Church
after the 11am Mass. Please write your
name on the list at the back of the Church if
you are planning to attend.
ADORATION WITH THE BLESSED
SACRAMENT:
This month we will have the Adoration of
the Blessed Sacrament on the 13th
December after the 11am Mass as part of
the launching of the Year of Mercy.

ACTIVITIES TEAS /COFFEE
In the Jubilee Hall after the 9am and 11am
Masses. We will be having a mini tombola.

OUR PARISH BAZAAR
Thanks to all who donated unwanted gifts,
cakes, food (noodles, rice & stew, bacon &
sausages), books and donation from
Francoise Adams of 90 etc., to all the
volunteers including our Confirmation
Candidates who helped in every way; which
raised the sum of 1,476.
We appreciated the generosity of your
donations and your help.
WE PRAY FOR THE REPOSE OF THE SOUL

MRS FRANCE MARCELINE BUMSTEAD, RIP
Frances Funeral Mass will take place on
Monday 7th December at 9:15am followed by
burial at St Pancras Cemetery. May she rest
in peace.
PATRICK PATSY JOSEPH MURPHY, RIP:
His remains will be brought to the Church on
Tuesday 8th December at 5.30pm; Patricks
Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday
9th December at 9.15am; Followed by
Cremation at Enfield Crematorium. May he
rest in peace.
PATRICK JOSEPH McCARTHY, RIP: Patrick,
the youngest brother of Sr Loreta McCarthy,
OLA died on Monday 30th November. May he
rest in peace.

HOMELESS DURING ADVENT:
Each year we have baskets in the church for
donations and presents for the HOMELESS
e.g: socks, gloves, hats/caps, scarves,
toiletries (toothpaste, soap, disposable
razors) etc. Bigger items such as CLEAN
blankets, towels, mens clothing will be
greatly appreciated and these can be handed
in to the presbytery during office hours
