Consequence and Remedy to

Sinfulness and Guilt of all
men
The consequence of the fall of man is
that man became totally depraved and
the immediate effect was his separation
from the holy God, and a curse upon
Adam and his descendants (Gen 1:6,1419,23-24, Rom 5:12,8:22) God's
judgment also came upon all men. the
soul that sinneth it shall die for the
wages of sin is death(Ezekiel 18:4, Rom
6:23) .The human race has rebelled
against God and broken his law, but the
love of God constrained the holy God to
plan for mans redemption to fulfill the
law that without the shedding of blood
there is no remission for sin(Hebrew
9:22).
Therefore God undertook the
redemption work for man by sending
Jesus Christ to die for him. Jesus Christ
became the Divine Provision of a Perfect
Substitute and sin bearer (Gen 22:7-8,
Gen 3:15, John 3:16, Hebrew 9:22). He
became the Lamb of God (John 1:29) By
the perfect sacrifice of His blood, and
through His blood man has complete
protection from the consequence o f the
fall, from the curse of the broken law.
Complete removal of the guilt and
condemnation of sin and full
redemption (Isaiah 53:4-8, Acts 8:323 5 ,1 Peterl:i8-2i; 2:24) iCorinthians

flooded the city and destroyed property worth millions of naira.
Another victim, Mr Kunle Oke, who is said to have lost eight
children and grand children in the flood in Oke Ayo, was at work
at the time o f the incident, according to residents. He was said to
be on night duty at the Federal Radio Corporation o f Nigeria
(FRCN), Ibadan, during the incident. He reportedly called his
children at home at about 10:00 pm and instructed them to leave
the house after watching the intensity o f the rain, but the children
believed they could handle it, like previous ones. Shortly after, it
was learnt, the flood trappedthem inside the house.
There were conflicting reports about the whereabouts o f his wife.
Some said she died in the hospital; others said she was rescued.
The bodies of six o f the children had been found, as at press time.
Rescuers were searching for the remaining two and other
victims.

repentance and godly sorrow for sin

through the agency of the Holy Spirit
are important prerequisites for
salvation.
Repentance is the deep inward
experience which makes the sinner
turn from sin to God. Therefore God
demands repentance from all men.
(Mark 1:15 Acts 17:30)
When a sinner hears the gospel of
the Holy Spirit, (if you are one, I pray
that the Holy Ghost will take over your
life now and bring you to the personal
knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ in
JESUS NAME),the sinner will have
deep, godly sorrow for his sins and
acknowledge them by confessing all
manner of sins. He goes before God on
the merit of the atonement made by
Jesus Christ through his vicarious
death and accepts the sacrifice as a
substitute for the punishment of his
own personal sin.
On the basis of this process of
genuine repentance, the sinner asks
for forgiveness and pardon based on
the promise of God in the scripture
(Proverbs28:i3, Isaiah 55:6-7,
iJohn 1:9, Ezekiel 18:21-22).
As a sinner through the agency of the
Holy Spirit repents genuinely, he will
have forgiveness and pardon (Rom
8:16; 2Corinthians 5:17; iJohn 2:2-3)
It is written, (For he saith, I have
heard thee in a time accepted, and in
the day of salvation have I succoured
thee; behold, now is the accepted
time, behold now is the day of
salvation) 2Cor 6:2.
No better moment, no better hour,
no better day. Now is the accepted
time to settle it with God. And it shall
come to pass that whosoever shall call
on the name of the Lord shall be
saved (Act 2:21)
Bow down your head and
call on the name o f the Lord.

Nigeria F.Gto remove Fuel Subsidy

a c c u m u la te and embezzle more money for themselves and w a it for the consequences.
How much of the money do w e recover no matter the EFCC's intervention? I don't trust the
EFCC because they only make noise. Those who w ere caught w ith people's money have not
been punished for it. But, a clerk who steals can goto eight years imprisonment."
He continued: 'The fuel is ours, how can w e think of removing fuel subsidy that w e use
internally? How can w e justify removal of fuel subsidy? W e have the crude oil and all other
things necessary for economic development of the country; yet, w e live as servants in a
foreign land. The truth is that the government of this country is not honest.
If they remove the subsidy next year as planned and increase electricity tariffs, it means
they have decided to kill the poor masses on the streets. I don't know if some persons are
behind this problem or they are always looking down on the masses. They are only talking
about themselves; they have not considered the poor man who cannot afford three square
meals on a daily basis. Children will find it difficult to go school.
"I think, government should think of investing on agriculture instead of increasing the agony
of the people. There are so many countries that are operating without oil. Togo has no oil;
Malaysia invests in rice plantation and gave room for employment. If they should increase
the price of any crude oil in this country, it is sabotage," he said.
