Providing feedback to your subordinates will slightly help them be at their

best on a day to day basis, therefore they will fulfill their potential and realize
their talents. Best performance comes from using strengths based feedback
strategy as it will maintain motivation, full engagement and deliver greater
productivity. Further in to this, giving strengths feedback will also help the
leader or manager to build naturally energized strong team. According to
Gratton (2008) of the London Business School,
one of the most crucial organizational levers in the creation of
cooperative working environments and collaborative teams is managers
who coach and mentor others. othersby providing constant feedback
on employee performance (p. 9). Feedback encourages individuals to
capitalize on their strengths and develop their weaknesses, which in turn
produces high-performance teams and organizations (Gratton, 2008).
2

Feedback is important to managers and leaders because employees

actions and behaviors ultimately determine the corporate culture and
success of an organization. Feedback shapes an employees
understanding of what is acceptable behavior within an organization or
workgroup. (Harms & Roebuck, 2010)
As a leader or manager, I should continually learn and strengthen my
communication skills which is very important part in the feedback system
and advance build my decision making capabilities (Deforest et al., 2002).
Boud believed that The skills of giving and receiving feedback can be
developed if attention is given to some of the attributes of worthwhile
feedback and how it can be given in ways which enhance its contribution to
learning. (Boud, 1995).
I would focus to improve different communication skills that are mostly
required when interacting people from around the world, however working in
such multicultural environment requires a certain amount of tact, willingness
to learn and to adapt compromise, further into this, there are other important
sides that I may need to further develop to work very effectively in a multicultural environment by understanding for different cultures and values
including religious believes.
