EDF EXITS FRANCE'S CAC40 INDEX

After its quarterly review this Monday, Euronext announced the exit of the French electricity generator and distributor
EDF from the CAC40 index
The exit will be effective on December 21, and will end a 10-year long period as a listed company on the CAC40 index
Even though EDF is one of the largest companies in the country, it trades sparsely on the stock market, as the French
government controls about 85% of its shares
EDF will instead enter the exchanges Next 20 index, where companies like Thales, Air France KLM and Hermes are
listed
The French real-estate investment company Klpierre will replace EDF

Operates in 16 countries
Euronext indexs rising star with 19,4 % growth in 2015

SWEDEN: IKEAS SALES BOOM AND ENVIRONMENTALFRIENDLY STRATEGY

This week IKEA presented their future ambitions as well as continued increased sales:
3,5 billion euros in 2015 compared to 3,3 billion euros in 2014, corresponding to an increase of 11%
IKEAs strategy involve:
Place future stores closer to cities
Open pick-up stores

Develop e-commerce
CEO Peter Agnefjll admitted in an interview in October
that the company is late to develop their e-commerce
Their newly announced ambitions imply increase sales
generated from e-commerce from 3,2 to 10 %
Bottom line: The strategy aims to meet changed
life styles and decreased use of cars
