Are You Cleaning Nozzles Instead of Spraying?
The COMBO-JET Tip-Cap with its snap-in strainer is easier to clean and stays clean longer.
The COMBO-JET Advantage:

Stainless steel tip is a permanent part of the cap.
Snap-in strainer is longer with 40% more area to reduce tip plugging. It can be cleaned
without removing from the Tip-Cap, which reduces the potential for debris dislodged
during cleaning to plug the tip.
The Tip-Cap, strainer and seal stay assembled when you change nozzles, which makes
them easier to handle and store.
Drift control models (SR, MR, & DR) utilize a closed chamber design which doesnt rely
on air entrainment, so there is no air hole to plug. Exclusive drift reduction nozzles for
AIM Command spray systems.

Radialock cap design secures cap in place, so it is less likely to get knocked off and it
doesnt over-compress the seal.
Large, easy to read model number and tip size are imprinted on international colorcoded cap.

Large selection of droplet size selective tip sizes available in both standard 80 and 110
degree flat fan models. Other angles are available upon request.
Wilgers Air-Induction Alternative - Closed Chamber Design

Pre-orifice
Air-induction nozzles are a type of drift reduction nozzle that draw in air through an external
air hole and mixes it with the liquid stream, increasing the droplet size and thus reducing the
potential for drift. Combo-Jet Tip-Caps use a different method to get the same results. SR,
MR & DR series Tip-Caps utilize a unique pre-orifice and closed chamber design to create
larger droplets that reduce drift. The SR, MR, & DR models each produce a different droplet
Closed
size range so you can choose the level of coverage and drift control you would like. The major Chamber
advantage of the closed chamber design is that it doesnt require an external air hole, which is
susceptible to plugging. They are also the preferred drift reduction nozzle for Aim Command
Exit Orifice
and SharpShooter blended pulse systems.

dirt, you will really like COMBO-JET!
The stainless steel tip is a permanent part of the cap and the strainer snaps
in and out, while the seal stays in place. So there is only one part to handle,
instead of four. The strainer stays in the Tip-Cap during cleaning and changing
which prevents dislodged debris from plugging the tip. Much easier to clean
and handle, especially with gloves which makes it safer!

Droplet Size Selective Tip-Caps
The right droplet size. The right spray tip. The right result.
Spraying isnt just about gallons per acre. To get the most effective application and minimize
spray drift you need to ensure you have the right spray nozzles operating at the proper
pressure, to produce the desired droplet size.
The COMBO-JET ER, SR, MR, and DR series are available in flat fan 80 and
110 degree models to let you choose the spray droplet size and angle that best
suits your application. Other angle Tip-Caps are available upon request.
Dual Nozzle Application

With ever increasing sprayer speeds, there is a concern that droplet sizes are
getting too large to be effective. Wilgers Combo-Rate system allows for 2 or
more nozzles to be spraying at the same time to maintain effective droplet size
and improved crop canopy coverage while maintaining high sprayer speeds. This
system allows applicators the flexibility to meet higher flow rate requirements by
combining multiple nozzles at one location (nozzle bank) while maintaining the
correct droplet size, rather than using a single larger orifice resulting in a droplet
spectra too big for adequate crop canopy coverage.

Optimize your Spray Tip Selection
Flow rate, pressure, and droplet size are all very important when spraying and with so
many spray tip options available, proper tip selection can be confusing. Wilgers TIP
WIZARD is a digital spray tip selector that makes tip selection much easier. Enter the
spraying requirements and the TIP WIZARD finds the spray tips that best suit your
application criteria and shows the speed, pressure, and droplet size range for each choice.

Why is droplet size so important?

Coverage vs Drift Control one cannot be improved without reducing the other. Generally
speaking, smaller droplets deposit on the target more effectively than larger droplets, but
are more likely to drift. Larger droplets will drift less, but may be less effective. A choice
must be made between coverage and drift control. An additional consideration is that some
products are more effective when applied with a certain droplet size.
