THIS IS NOT A FREE FONT

Bulletto is distribuited with a
free for personal / non commercial use
license provided with the download. It allows unlimited use of
the font(s) on all personal CPUs for
non-commercial uses (i.e. no-profit
projects, student work, pro-bono
assignements).
If youre designing a Logo or
artwork for print or digital advertising, and are the sole author of
the design you need to buy a Personal License.
If youre designing a Logo or
artwork for print or digital advertising, and are part of a two-five
people studio you need the Small
Studio License.
Both the personal and small
studio licenses apply to web/app
use of your design, as long as it
stays in rasterized form; if you plan
to use include the font in a website
or in an app for dynamic text generation (e.g. font-face) you need
the Software/Internet License.

All the above licenses dont

apply to broadcast use (designing
logos or dynamic text for broadcast/tv/cinema).
If you plan to use include the
font as part of dynamic or static
typesetting for broadcast use, you
need the Broadcast License.
All the above licenses dont
allow for redistribution of the font
to your client or his employees (eg.
corporate font usage). If you want
your client to be able to use personally the font to adapt/modify your
design, he must buy a Personal or
Small Business License.
If your client is a corporate
entity that wants to freely distribute
the font to employees and agencies
for brand/product developement, a
Worldwide License is necessary.
Feel free to contact us for further enquiries.

About Bulletto Font

WHO DID IT?

Bulletto was designed by Cosimo

Lorenzo Pancini at Zetafonts,
developing the original Digitalino font
by Francesco Canovaro.

DESIGN STYLE
Bulletto was designed to
maximize legibility in bold italic
characters.

Readable Script

To add a script flavour, all

uppercase letters have a small
swash with a round ball terminal.

ABEFW

TYPE FREELY IN ALL-UPPERCASE

To avoid clashes between
letters in all-uppercase words, a
secondary see of uppercase was
designed:

THIS LOOKS BAD

THIS LOOKS GOOD
This effect is obtained by
open type substitution and can
be disabled by switching off
standard ligatures.

FINAL FORMS AND SWASHES

A set of final forms for
lowercases and some swash
ended where added.
To obtain the final form, allow
opentype final form alternates or
simply type two hypens after the
letter:

nice-- get nice-type way-- get way-type cat-- get cat-type

Similarly, type underscores

after the last letter to get swash
endings:

Fun__ get Fun__

type Eva_ get Eva_
type Bat___ get Bat___
type

Monoline version has different

swashes:

Aria__ get Aria__

type Fun_ get Fun_
type Sea___ get Sea___

Slang names for Italians:

Goombah: From the Italian
word Compare (pronounced
cumpa) meaning a close
friend. Considered a slur
when used by non-Italians
to describe an Italian male.
Was first used by Louis
Prima who was famous for
bastardizing the Italian language in his witty songs for
his American audience. The
Goomba is also the weakest
enemy in Nintendos Super
Mario Bros. video game series.
Guinea/Ginney: Pronounced gi-nee. Came from
Guinea Negro and originally referred to any Black or
any person of mixed ancestry.
This dates back to the 1740s.
By the 1890s it was being
applied to Italians-- almost
certainly because they tend
to have darker skin than
Anglo-Saxons/Germans. By
1911 the term began being applied to Hispanics, although
the reference to Italians is
the most common. Derived
from Sicilian immigrants
who paid in Italian currency,
