‫ِثغِ ُِ اٌٍِّٗ اٌشَّدِّـَِٓ اٌشَّدُُِِ‬

• Ziyarat al-Nahiya al-Muqaddasa

• Among the most famous Ziyaraat of
Imam Hussein (a.s.)
• Among the Ziyaraat Mutlaqa i.e. Can be
recited on the Day of Ashura or any day
• This Ziyarat has teachings of love,
awareness, grief, bravery and seeking
nearness
• Despite it being a report of grief it enlightens
• Narrated from Imam Mahdi (a.s.)
• Mentions the tragedy of Karbala and
some of the circumstances of the
martyrdom of Imam Hussein (a.s.) in a
way that the zaair feels himself as part of
the tragedy. As a result his soul acquaints
with tawalla and tabarra i.e. by
salutations and association with Imam
Hussein (a.s.) and his associates in every
era and distancing from the Yazid of
every time.
