Prior to Zotec Partners September 2013 acquisition of Medical Management Professionals (MMP)
and MMPs November 2007 acquisition of Healthcare Business Resources (HBR), I was Vice
President Information Technology and Security Officer for HBR. Our continuing mission is to be
the leader in hospital-based physician coding and revenue cycle management services to the
emergency medicine, radiology, anesthesiology and pathology specialties.
At HBR, my responsibilities included all Information Technology (IT) and related areas to ensure
accurate, efficient and compliant coding and billing to insurances and guarantors. I achieved this by
leveraging a 20+ person staff (comprised of application development and maintenance,
infrastructure and operations), many with tenures in excess of 15 years with me, and with an annual
budget in excess of $5 million. I was also responsible for capital expenditures and the successful
negotiation of multiple sourcing contracts with national vendors.
Under my leadership, System Development Methodologies and Standard Operating Policies and
Procedures were instituted to ensure that all service level agreements with the user community and
client/partners are continually met. I also advocated for early adoption of standards; as such, we
became front-runners in the utilization of the ANSI X12 standards.
After the acquisition of HBR by MMP, and subsequently by Zotec Partners, my responsibilities
expanded to include additional application development, maintenance, support and training teams, a
software sales and support book of business (with revenues of $2.5 million), an increased annual
budget in excess of $7 million and facilities management.
During this tenure, I successfully negotiated and migrated data center and platform outsourcers in
1997, reducing expenditures by 50%, and again in 2012, reducing expenditures this time in excess of
70%, while at the same time improving service deliverables and tightening service level agreements.
I traveled extensively across the country to bridge the communication gap between technology and
business for new business presentations, client meetings and our disparate business offices. This
travel also included vendor meetings to foster partnership relationships for mutual success.

Complete responsibility and autonomy of the computer department staff, operations, and budgets;
software and hardware integrity; software and hardware updates (both in-house and at customer
sites); R&D of a CAD/CAM/CAI system; and internal office automation.
Bobiers main business segment was providing integrated computer controlled dimensional
verification equipment to major manufacturers (G.M., Ford, Chrysler, Steelcase, and Whirlpool to
name a few). I integrated this equipment into factory automation systems, leveraging statistical
process control and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to enable these manufactures to create
significantly improved products with less waste. I was instrumental in the creation and adoption of a
new ANSI standard for coordinate measuring machines and created a national users group to support
this new standard. Frequent national and international travel for client meetings and component
supplier meetings was tantamount to success.

medium sized manufacturing firm. This included writing all user manuals, developing training
material and the training of office personnel to utilize this new system.

I began as second shift operator, with unsupervised responsibility of all daily production job set-up,
execution, completion, and output preparation. My responsibilities expanded after one year to
include JCL maintenance, primarily due to recommendations to improve efficiency. Promoted to
Operations Programmer the following year, with the added responsibilities of COBOL program
maintenance (this included changing approx. 2000 programs to conform to a new COBOL
compiler), disk and tape utilization management, month end work preparation, scheduling, and
balancing.

I worked closely with the programmers on the implementation of a graphics system on a PDP11/45
for forestry research. In addition, I converted FORTRAN programs to RPG-II for American Can
Corp. as a proof-of-concept, which I completed four weeks ahead of the ten week deadline
