Bain Capability and Industry teams offer a varied set of tools and materials to
help Bain case teams, these are known as Bain Products

Practice
Develop and Deploy industry and capability expertise for focused industry
sectors and cross-industry insights. Practice teams are the front-line support
for any questions on their Practice within their team and company-wide

Knowledge
Knowledge Management group manages Bain content, performs practice area
research, tracks case summaries and supports practice operations

Knowledge Associate role description


Primary roles include:

- Codify case information and content for contribution to global knowledge base
- Disguise/sanitize and repackage content from client presentations and consulting
projects in manner consistent with Bains professional standards guidelines
- Develop and update points of views, industry overviews, credentials, primers and
practice area member bios.
- Update documents/ trackers/ databases to keep the knowledge base fresh
- Maintain knowledge databases and metrics to facilitate PA growth and
operations
- Create presentations for regular PA pipeline and revenue discussions
- Build knowledge base of cases using key practice area products
- Track proposal submissions and key findings/outcomes from case projects
- Compose regular newsletters to PA affiliates on latest case, proposal, knowledge
Developments

Other responsibilities:

- Conduct PA-specific research and competitor analysis to update view of external market
trends relevant to PA
- Support your Knowledge Specialist in other ad-hoc requests/ projects

Selection process consists of a written test with three


interviews at the BCC

First round interview - ~45mins
- With a Specialist/ Sr. Specialist

rounds)
