TRAININGSCHEME
The Ambedkar University Delhi invites applications from Indian Citizen for
engagement of Library Trainees under the Apprenticeship Training Scheme. The
engagement will be for a period of six months. The training involves classification
and cataloguing of books, rendering subject headings, preparation of various types
ofbibliographictoolssuchasAccessionList,dataentryinthecatalogue,database
usingMARC21formatetc.
The Organization: The Ambekdar University Delhi is a public University with a
campusbased, unitary structure with research, postgraduate and undergraduate
programmesinthesocialsciencesandthehumanities.
Position:LibraryTrainee(s)undertheApprenticeshipTrainingScheme(ATS)
No.ofposition:Five
Eligibility:BA/B.Com/BSc Graduates with Masters Degree in Library and
Information Science or MA/M.Com/MSc Post Graduates with Bachelors Degree in
Library and Information Science from a recognized University with 50% Marks and
shouldhaveobtainedthisqualificationintheyear(s)2013,2014or2015.Ageshould
belessthan30yearsasonlastdateforreceivingtheapplications.
Stipend:Rs.11,000/(RupeesEleventhousandonly)permonth.
Tenure:Sixmonths
