December 17th marks
the 79th birthday of Pope
Francis who was born
in 1936 in Buenos Aires,
Argentina, the eldest of
five children of Italian
immigrants. He is the
266th Pope of the Catholic
Church who took over for Benedict XVI in March of
2013.
Ordained a priest in 1969, he rose through the
ranks to become Archbishop of Buenos Aires in 1998
and cardinal in 2001. He has made waves throughout
the world for his modern views on homosexuality and
contraception.
While Francis remains enormously popular among
most rank-and-file Catholics, a small but vocal group of
conservatives who have never much cared for his radical
agenda have grown increasingly strident in criticizing
the pope now that there is little doubt left about his
priorities.

Voting is coming to an end for the 2015 Broadway
World awards. I am very proud and shocked to have
been nominated in 4 categories (Best Actor, Director,
Supporting Actor and Choreographer in the Professional
Catagories). The polls have been steadily changing and
it is exciting to watch. There are also a handful of FPST
alums scattered throughout as well:
Heather Adams, Chanel Bragg, Lynzee 4Man, Mark
4Man, Johanna Carlisle, and Cassandra Klaphake
I would be super grateful if you could take 5 minutes
to vote for me and the other alums! Go to: http://www.
broadwayworld.com/phoenix/vote2015region.cfm
I am most proud of all the recognition that THE
KING AND I has been getting, especially for the team
of Heather Adams and myself as Choreographer and
Director. It was a production that we were all incredibly
proud the create -- a bit of a little engine that could
story, so it would be amazing to see it win!!
You can skip over catargories that you do not wish
to vote in. Thanks!

Another system looks to affect areas south of Fort
Peck Lake Saturday night and Sunday with snow and
the potential of freezing drizzle.

YIKES!
With all the new technology regarding fertility
recently, a 65-year-old friend of mine was able to give
birth. When she was discharged from the Hospital and
went home, I went to visit.
Can I see the new baby? I asked.
Not yet, she said, Ill make us some coffee and we
can chat for a while first.
So I check my watch and thirty minutes had passed,
and I asked, May I see the new baby now?
No, not yet, she said.
After another few minutes had elapsed,
I asked again, May I see the baby now?
No, not yet, replied my friend.
Growing very impatient hey, I had things to do,
and I just wanted to see the little linoleum lizard to be
polite I asked, Well, when can I see the baby?
And she says, WHEN HE CRIES!
WHEN HE CRIES? I demanded. Why do I have
to wait until he CRIES?
And she admits, BECAUSE I FORGOT WHERE I
PUT HIM, O.K.?!!

SPORTSMANS PARADISE
A group of Montana state agencies and conservation
organizations is seeking nominations for the second
round of inductees to the Montana Outdoor Hall of
Fame.
The MOHOF honors individuals who have
contributed to the restoration and conservation of
Montanas fish, wildlife, and other outdoor amenities.
Montanas Outdoor Hall of Fame recognizes Montanas
historical and contemporary conservation leaders, said
Montana Governor Steve Bullock. We need to capture
and share the important stories of the men and women
whove championed Montanas outdoor heritage.
Nominees can include people from all walks of
life who reflect Montanas diverse tradition of resource
conservation and stewardship.
Participants in the effort include Montana
Fish, Wildlife & Parks, the Montana Historical
Society, Montanas Outdoor Legacy Foundation,
the Montana Wildlife Federation, the Montana
Wilderness Association, Montana Trout Unlimited,
the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, and the
Cinnabar Foundation.
The inaugural MOHOF class was formally
inducted last year and included: Granville Stuart,
Theodore Roosevelt, Charlie M. Russell, Lee Metcalf,
Don Aldrich, Bud Moore, Thurman Trosper, Doris
Milner, Cecil Garland, Gerry Jennings, Ron Marcoux,
and Chris Marchion. MOHOF inductees are archived
at the Montana Historical Society in Helena.
The deadline for nominations is Thursday,
December 31st. For more information and a nominee
application (pdf) form visit the Montana Outdoor
Legacy Foundation website at www.mtoutdoorlegacy.
