1). COMPILER CONSTRUCTION for Tiny-C, a block-structured language of the same

family as C and Pascal.
2). Construction of a SHELL (supports all basic commands including background
execution (&), redirection(> , <) and piping). and Operating systems Problems involving
shared memory and synchronization(use of semaphores, signals) among child processes
and scheduling resource utilization.
3). Analyzing and designing algorithms using dynamic programming, recursive
permutation and other techniques to solve numerous problems such as text formatting,
Huffman encoding, Euler tour, and improving upon the available algorithms.

CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE PROJECT:

Algebraic attacks on stream ciphers.

3. Was awarded the “Indian Public Schools’ Conference” certificate in General
knowledge in the years 1993 and 1995.
4. Won the first prize in Open for all Debate organized by The Times Of India and
Fa,con de parlour debating society during 25-27th August, 2000.
5. Won Gold medal in Inter-Hall Hindi Elocution, Gold medal in Inter-hall
Choreography and Bronze medal in Open-IIT Antakshari held at IIT Kharagpur.
6. Won Third prize in ATELIER(Ad-making & marketing strategy building competition)
during Kshitij, the annual techno-management festival(2004) of IIT Kharagpur.
7. Was a finalist in Atelier and CarInsight( Car Interior design) in Kshitij- 2005.
