The proposed mccz will adhere to the vernacular architectural character that are
reflected in the citys rich and historical background, hence it will reminisce the essence
of cultural arts to integrate the cultural aspect into contemporary design.
Ecologically Responsive
We are faced with growing ecological imbalance that threatens to irreparably
damage our ecosystem, as a result of man's indulgence in crude, inefficient and
wasteful environmental practices.
The purpose of this work is to present an optimistic view of our future
environment. The stimulus to engage in this project is based upon a strong conviction
that we share a responsibility to use our technologic expertise to enhance our
environment and live in harmony with nature.
The proposal is conceptualized through sustainable Green Architecture design
wherein the art of innovation inspired by nature is being applied to help conserve and
protect the natural environment. Reducing the use if non-renewable resources in the
construction and operation of buildings will be applied.
Structural Strength
All Proposed major structures, along with the minor structure and complementing
amenities shall be planned and designed with the conformity to its existing local
ordinances, laws, and codes most especially National Building code of the Philippines.
The complex should be structurally strong and efficient hence structural design will not
be sacrificed for aesthetic design, and vice versa.
Similar to basketry, it forms a stronger bond among its intertwined and interlaced
threads, therefor making it impervious to external stress and structurally stable. The
whole complex will provide a modern, efficient, accommodating, secured and modern
facility to the general public. Safety and protection is also a concern in the proposal. The
facilities and venues will provide adequate safety features and equipment in order for
the visitors to feel comfortable and safe.
