Introduction
This document assists administrators in configuring Oracle Configuration Manager (OCM) for use with Oracle Primavera
Contract Management (CM). OCM can be used to view Primavera Administrator Application settings for multiple Contract
Management implementations from one central location.
If you installed OCM 10.3.52 when you installed Contract Management, a folder called ccr will appear under the
Contract Management home folder. In that case, skip step 2.
b.
If you are manually installing OCM from the Oracle Support site, download the Configuration Manager zip file from
the Collector tab at http://support.oracle.com. After downloading the file, go continue to step 2.
2. Unzip the Configuration Manager zip file to the Contract Management home folder. This creates the CCR folder that
contains the OCM installation components. Once the file is unzipped, do the following:
a.
From the command prompt, change your directory to the ccr/bin folder.
b.
c.
If running Linux, run the following command to give execute permissions to this file:
chmod +x setupCCR.
d.
b.
Set Configuration Capture Time to the hour when you want the daily configuration files to be written.
c.
5. Set a collection time on the OCM server for Contract Management information to be automatically captured, as specified in
step 3. The OCM collection time should be after the Contract Management capture time. To set the collection time:
a.
Open a command prompt and change your directory to the following location:
<OCM home>\ccr\bin\
b.
For example:
emCCR set collection_interval="FREQ=DAILY;BYHOUR=18;BYMINUTE=20"
c.
To check that the collection time is properly set, go to a command prompt, and change your directory to the following
location:
<OCM home>\ccr\bin\
Then execute the following command:
For Windows:
emCCR.bat status
For LinuxWindows:
./emCCR status
For more information about collection time settings, see the Oracle Configuration Management documentation.
