Performance Notes
The fixed media part is located on the accompanying audio CD and/or MAXMSP file. A
graphical representation of the fixed media part can be found in the score. The score does
not describe every sound and construction that appear in the fixed media, it does however
describe several cues as well as reference timings. Given the nature of the composition,
the clarinet part contains a small amount of flexibility and freedom. The clarinetist should
use the cues and timings in order to temporally integrate the clarinet and fixed media part.
It is recommended that the performance of the work use the included MAX/MSP patch,
which has an integrated metronome and timer that correspond to the timings in the score.
