1. Objective:
1. Found the value (n) from polytrophic-compressor experiences.
2. Found the value (v % , Wc , Wn , Wt , n %, t %,..).
3. defined compressors &types .
2. Introduction:
The machine is used to increase the gas pressure by reducing the size. It
is similar for both pump increases the pressure on the fluid and both
transmits the compressed material through a tube, and the difference
between them is that the gases materials are subject to pressure in the
compressor reduces the size, but the materials are not fluid pressure in the
pump used to transfer liquids.
The air compressor is a key element irreplaceable in the cooling circuits
of all types (air conditioners and central air conditioning systems,
refrigerators ...) as well as in gas power plants and steam.
2.1Types of compressors:
1. reciprocating compressor:He is the author of the piston moves
within the cylinder wildly; stroke pull through the intake valve open and
enters the air (gas) into the piston chamber, and half pay (pressure) which
moves the piston in the opposite direction, thereby reducing the size of
the chamber containing air and then And Gath upon the arrival of the air
pressure value to a certain extent, lead to that payment valve opens and
the compressed air out of the room. AC compressor is small sizes starting
from a few kW and are used widely cars and be of use intermittently. The
AC compressor started up its ability to seven hundred kW is used in
industrial applications.
2.Axial flow compressor:enters the air and out of parallel to the axis of
rotation and uses a series of semi-fan rotor blades move to put pressure
on the gas flow. There are feathers fixed in place by the end of each rotor
to redirect the stream to the next rotor blades. Traffic area of gases
through less compressor to maintain the desired speed axle. This type of
compressor is used in high-flow applications, such as medium and largesized gas turbine engines, and be multiple stages.

5.Conclusion:
For polytrophic-compressor-process:
We note in this experiment that the n numbers from the spreadsheet close
to each other and there are some minor differences due to temperature
and pressure effect of the room in the error rate of .06 to 0.016.
The slope from chart (n-1)\n n=1.1879
For polytrophic-work-compressor-process:
From the above analysis, we can hence conclude that work and efficiency
increase by increasing the pressure and the negative sign is to indicate
that the work is act on the system.
So that the volumetric efficiency (v %)=0 at Pressure range (21-24)bar
From chart the v %=0 at p~= 22bar
