Intercede for the Muslim World!

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news (Is 52:7a).

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

MALI: An alumnus serving in the capital city asks us to pray as the country is in the midst of a 10-day, governmentdeclared state of emergency due to jihadist threats. Because of the curfew, the normal evening church services for
Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve had to be canceled. Please pray
for the authorities at all levels as they work to identify and stop any threatening activities.
that the churches would have the courage to spread the gospel in the areas where the risk is not so high.
that each believer would sense his or her responsibility to offer the message of salvation to family, friends, coworkers, etc.
for God's protection over churches and neighborhoods. Bandits have been taking advantage of the situation and
in their operations have hurt and even killed their victims.
Pray also for a Fulani lady who was healed by Jesus and has now heard the gospel and experienced firsthand God's
love and power. Pray that this seed planted will take root in her heart and in the hearts of her family members.
WEST AFRICA: Please pray for meetings this coming week involving Assemblies of God workers as they pray
together, discuss, and seek God for direction to more effectively bring the gospel to unreached people in their
respective areas of service throughout West Africa.

In the News
Continue to intercede for those working at the border crossing in Macedonia, as they share goods and God's love with
those coming through. Even though the refugees being accepted are limited to those from Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria,
more than 2,500 pass through this transit center each day. Another 1 million3,500 per dayare expected to cross
here in 2016. Pray for more personnel to work on a more permanent basis with the couple resident there, and for God's
supernatural strength for them, as the work is exhausting. Pray that the Spirit will prepare the hearts of refugees even
as they approach the border, to receive the message of hope and life.

From Global Initiative*

Pray for the Jordanian Church as it assists Syrian refugees. More than 633,000 registered Syrian refugees live in
Jordan. Many are in camps, some in overcrowded basements and apartments in the cities. The physical needs are
endless and resources limitedbut God's people can offer the Answer to their spiritual need! Pray especially for the
Assemblies of God churches as their members visit and encourage these new residents. A refugee said that one church
...not only helped us with food, they treated us as fellow human beings. They gave us hope. There are still people who
care about us and love us. May those who have known only Allah come to know the strong love of Jesus.

For Muslim Women**

Pray that God would give the women and girls in your home the privilege of establishing friendships with Muslim
women and girls this coming year, to His glory.
