is intend to organize a unique themed flea market event in Encorp Strand Mall, in January 2016.
URBAN CUBE PLT specializes in the management of events for shopping complexes.

Currently, the company is focusing on the organization of a unique themed flea markets
to promote local branding. The company will set up containers to be the display and sales outlets
and this is a whole new concept in Malaysia. The company gathers all the coolest clothing
brands in town to one location so that it will be easy for people to get access to unique things
that they want. In other words, this is akin to an exhibition of potential brands that have the best
chance to make a mark among our young adults.
With regard to our proposed event that we intend to hold at your mall in January 2016,
time is of the essence to ensure the highest degree of success. The event will last for one month.
In brief, what we would require is your goodwill and cooperation in the provision of the
electricity throughout the event.
From our experience, we believe that this event that we have planned and will organise
on your premises will have a critical effect of your business and your tenants. Not only will it
help in the positive promotion of the mall for that month but many months before and after. The
publicity that will be generated by such a high-profiled event will help to put your mall
constantly in the minds of the consumers and increase the footfalls for businesses of your
tenants.
Our companys experience have shown us that the malls that we have used for our past
events have benefited more business to the run up of such events as well as on the days of such
events. The event is expected to draw in crowds and bring constant traffic to the mall.

Concept:
First container flea market in town. Containers will be modified to accommodate a few stalls
known as the fashion flea market selling clothes.
Flea market with Chinese New Year theme.
What is driving our concept? The demand of many young entrepreneurs who desires an entry
point into market in creative ways - different business models.
The company through this project will provide the platform for such aspiring entrepreneurs to
showcase their creativity and skills.
First company to promote the container concept for a flea market for marketing and sales of
fashion clothes to young adults.
Duration: The whole of January 2016 (1 month)
Time of operation: 11.00 am to 10.00 pm
Time: The flea market will be held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Target Group: The target group of this flea market are youths between the ages of 19 to 30.
For a month, discerning shoppers, who regularly shop on-line for affordable items or designer
labels will have a chance of enjoying a different shopping experience through this event.
New entrepreneurs and vendors will be given a chance able to showcase their local designs in
competition with international boutique labels.

All items to be sold will be thoroughly screened to ensure they are in strict conformity with the
theme and appeal of the intended target group.

Promotional Efforts: Multi-faceted:

Invite famous local artistes to promote the events. Every week, the company will
organize different activities as attraction.

Operate a mobile promotion team. For instance - Human walking mobile billboard.

Invite famous local bloggers and local media to promote the event especially for the
younger people who are social-media centric.

Invite buskers and handicraft sellers to promote their music and craft to electrify and
make the mall a happening place to come to.

Convince every stall participant to use their own talents to decorate their booths and
cubicles in their own unique ways to attract customer attention.
