With in-depth financial and accounting experience, I provided cost-effective strategies that maximized profitability in
manufacturing environments both here and abroad. I am especially strong in automating financial systems, and
developing analytical tools and insightful reports that highlight areas for improvement and enable senior managers to
make superior, fact-based business solutions. Additional strengths include:

Maintaining integrity of financial statements through monthly reconciliations and yearly audits
Streamlining and automating systems and procedures to keep pace with growth and change
Managing major programs, projects and departments to peak performance
Improving accounting procedures, reporting and regulatory processes internationally
Ensuring GAAP and corporate standards/requirements are met at multiple sites

My MBA in Finance is from Iona College and my BA in Accounting is from the Dominican College of Blauvelt. Known as
the go-to person, I have been commended for my ability to build consensus and teams that perform optimally.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Automated financial reporting. Financial reports / data was manually prepared by one person using excel
spreadsheets. Collaborated with IT, creating reports through TM1 which was directly connected to Nice Pak Products
ERP system. Published financial results quicker and by multiple accounting personnel.
Created report that tied directly to GL. A financial reconciliation report was corrupted. Evaluated the report / process,
determining system was using faulty logic. Used existing reporting package to match and group transactions from the GL,
inventory and PO sub-systems. Recaptured $50K monthly of monies owed Nice Pak from vendors, and allowed analysts
time to evaluate financial results.
Improved financial visibility. Daikins manufacturing costs were tracked on 25 different excel spreadsheets. Evaluated
processes and ERP systems, developed / tested transactions and scenarios, and created A/P and A/R reports. Improved
production quantities, yield tracking, and reduced inventory 10% with better planning.
Enhanced executive decision making. Daikin needed better reporting during their growth period. Collaborated with IT
Consultant to create reports that encompassed all areas of the business. Identified the tables and fields, tracked and
tested reports, and negotiated the cost of each report, saving $50K annually in external consulting fees.
Captured revenue. For the first three years of Daikins joint venture with 3M, manufacturing their recycled products were
not valued. Collaborated with the Costing Manager and auditors to calculate the value of the products. Renegotiated the
JV agreement, increasing annual income an average of $3M annually.
Streamlined financial reporting. Daikins parent company needed financial results earlier than normal. Developed a
cross training program. Restructured processes, created report grouping program, and automated journal entries, A/P,
A/R and inventory account reconciliations. Shortened monthly reporting by three days, meeting corporate expectations
without adding additional resources or expenses.
Ensured global compliance. Daikin needed to become fully J-SOX (Japanese Sarbanes Oxley) compliant within one
year. Attended training classes provided by auditors, evaluated internal controls to prepare for internal / external audits.
Passed all external audits with zero remediation needed over five years.
