ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

This International Conference is an attempt to bring the experts from academic
institutions, research organizations and industries, and policy-makers
involved in this area, on a common platform to facilitate close interactions
and to share and exchange their views pertaining to the contemporary issues
and future challenges in the field of Alternative Energy Sources.

OBJECTIVES
1. To provide a forum for the free and fruitful exchange of ideas on
Alternative Energy Sources.
2. To promote result oriented, industry related research in academic
institutions and research organizations.
3. To create a network among various institutions and industries for
effective collaboration in research and development.
4. To identify areas which require research and development in the

CALL FOR PAPERS
Prospective authors are invited to submit full length papers describing
original, previously unpublished, complete work (not currently under
review by another conference/ journal) up to six pages in IEEE double
column format including figure, results and references. Papers will be
accepted in word format only. All papers should be sent on conference
e-mail: icaesbit2016@gmail.com, icaes2016@gmail.com
The accepted papers may be published in conference proceedings by
Journal with ISBN/ISSN number and extended versions of papers may
be published in SCOPUS, SCI and some other indexed journals.

Authors will be notified about the decision as soon as the assessment is

complete and instructions will be provided for submission of the final paper.
Final acceptance of papers for presentation will be based on the
decision of the review panel.
The best paper presented shall be awarded prize in each of the

ABOUT BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHONOLOGY

Birla Institute of Technology was established in 1955 at Mesra, Ranchi,
Jharkhand by the philanthropist and industrialist Shri B.M. Birla. BIT was
declared aDeemed Universityin 1986 under section 3 of theUniversity
Grants CommissionAct, 1956under notification No. F. 9-2/83-U.3 28
August 1986.
BIT was the first institute in India to establish a department ofSpace
Engineering and Rocketry, in 1964. BIT introduced the concept of
Small Industries Entrepreneurs' Park and became the first institute in
the country not just to provide 'nursery sheds' and central designing
and workshop facilities to young entrepreneurs, but also to facilitate the
initial project funding.
BIT established an Offshore Centre in Bahrain in the year 2000. It
was accorded a Supercomputer (PARAM 10000) at the core of its IT
infrastructure.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENTS
Since its inception in 1955, the Department of Mechanical Engineering
has a wide reputation for the quality of teaching and research it
offers. It has been awarded top grades for both teaching and research
activities from independent and government bodies. The excellent
laboratory facilities, modern computer clusters, systematically designed
curriculum, and dedicated faculty members make this Department a
dynamic place to study.
The Department of Bio-Engineering was established in 2002 with financial
support from the Department of Agriculture, Government of Jharkhand,
with objectives like providing education and training facilities, carrying
out application oriented research, developing in-house technologies and
promoting consultancy services in various areas of Biotechnology and
Bio-Engineering.
