I am an independent, self motivated person looking for a permanent position with a company
where there is room for growth. I enjoy working in a fast paced environment, am able to multi
task and am detail oriented. I am a dedicated team player and am willing to go beyond my job
duties to help out my co-workers and the company.
Employment History:
Sportsstuff Inc.
11213 E Circle
Omaha, NE 68144
402-592-9085
Start Date & Salary: 6/23/2006 $11.00/hr. End Date & Salary: 11/10/2009 $13.00/hr
Duties: I was the office managers assistant. I answered incoming calls and directed them to
where they needed to go. I did basic office duties such as filing and data entry. I was also
responsible for Accounts Payables which includes combining, coding and paying the bills on a
weekly basis. I also helped the billing department with invoicing.
I also worked directly with our factory in China to order items via writing PO's and making sure
everything was compliant in regards to shipping the goods to the United States. (See attached)
Reason for Leaving: Lack of Work. This was a small company (less than 30 employees) and
the company had to downsize in order to stay in business. About 1/3 of the workforce had to be
laid off
Supervisor: Julie Churchich (she is no longer with company --need to speak with Peg Anzalone)
Start Date & Salary: 8/2002 $10.00/hr. End Date & Salary: 6/15/2006 $13.25/hr.
Duties: I started out as a compliance specialist. I would review applications for home loans and
make sure that the paperwork was all signed correctly and all necessary forms were included in
the file. If information was missing I was responsible for obtaining the information, which includes
direct contact the loan applicant, references provided by the applicant, and ordering appraisals
when needed I also did basic office duties such as filing, data entry, printing commitment letters
and opening and entering mail receipts.
Reason for Leaving: At the time it looked like I would have a better future at Sportsstuff and the
Health Insurance plan offered was an excellent plan at an affordable price. At that time I had
children that needed coverage and the insurance through Wells Fargo was not affordable.
I ran the office/phone room for several different types of telemarketing including life/health
insurance, heating and A/C companies and farm supplies (TGS Marketing//LaGrange) I did basic
office work, answering incoming calls, customer service, data entry, writing scripts (for
telemarketers) and ordering additional information (for the health/live insurance companies) such
as physical exams if needed.
Education:
I graduated from Metro Tech Community College in 1982 with a certificate in Child Development. I
tried working in a couple of different day care centers but found that I made better money
telemarketing so that is the direction I went for a few years. In 1989 I opened a Day Care in my
home until 1995-at which time I had to move and was forced to go back into the work force.
