America
the greatest country on Earth. Accomplishing all of his goals, as follows, should establish
an
unforgettable legacy for him:
1. Accelerate the growth of the economy to add more jobs.
2. Bring down childhood obesity rate.
3.Increase opportunity for access to college education.
4. Modify tax code to encourage manufacturers to insource jobs from overseas back to
home.
5. Use money saved from tax reform coupled with streamlined permits for infrastructure
projects that add millions to employment.
6. Create more joint university/business research hubs for advancing technology leading
to new hi-tech industries.
7. Develop export trade promotion to support small business and provide new foreign
markets for US-made products.
8. Restore Congressional funds in support of advanced research.
9. Pass patent reform to allow business to focus on innovation instead of costly litigation.
10. To further energy strategy, get Congress to support building fueling stations for
natural
gas, to replace oil-based gasoline.
11. Eliminate excessive subsidies to unnecessary fossil fuel industries.
12. Introduce standards for fuel efficiency in trucks.
13. To sustain our energy policy for a cleaner, safer planet, add new standards for
reducing
amount of carbon pollution from all power plants.
14. Do everything to combat human influence on global climate change.
15. Reform our broken immigration system.
16. Establish nationwide training programs to teach Americans new skills for jobs that
lead to upward mobility.
34. Modify NSA policy to maintain surveillance for security reasons, but not impact
citizens privacy.
36. Support our servicemen returning home from war by offering benefits for their
physical and mental healthcare and assist their transition back to civilian life.
37. Maintain American diplomacy and sanctions to stop uranium enrichment and prevent
Iran from making a nuclear bomb.
38. The one goal that Obama did not mention, but should have, is that all women should
have the right of pro-choice.
When one looks over the above list of all the things that President Obama wants to get
done, either through Congress or on his own Executive authority, it is difficult to
comprehend why any Republican wants to obstruct these noteworthy objectives, unless
their interests are more for their elected positions instead for their country. LOL
