Welcome to our
CELEBRAT10N concert! This
weekend, Singapore Mens
Chorus (SMC) celebrates
10 years. 10 years of song
and dance, laughter and
tears. 10 years of amazing
performances and a few
wrong notes here and there.
10 years of friends, family
and fans. We have musically
travelled the world, celebrated
Hollywood, Broadway and the
Great American Songbook.
We have welcomed the sixties,
sung in the rain, gotten in the
mood and put on the Ritz.
We have created a family, a
community, a brotherhood of
men who like to sing.

SING OUT LOUD @ THE MOVIES

The men make more than music in this new

experiment. An original short film, videos
and other projections are woven with songs
from the movies. This was also the mens
first performance at NAFAs Lee Foundation
Theatre, which was to become their venue of
choice until today.

DOWN MEMORY LANE
The men take a walk down memory lane,

ON THE DANCE FLOOR
Dance is inextricable from music. SMC
explores the idea of dance from its
motivations (courtship, prayer, expression)
to its vastly different styles spanning cultures
and eras. Even the very definition of dance is
questioned Are marching and coordinated
farming movements dance?
