following detailed reviews with operators across the region, Volvo Bus
has incorporated many significant chassis improvements at Euro 6, all
designed to improve performance, assist with maintenance and save you
money.

Body options
The Wrightbus body has been completely updated and developed for
Euro 6 with a new exterior look and many improvements to the interior.
The new developments include weight savings and reduced maintenance
costs. The new body features improved access to the engine bay,
lightweight seat design, one box heater system for maintenance access
and reduced pipework, improved drivers cab layout and new ducting for
heating. The new B5TL also provides quicker release fastenings on the
rear bulkhead seats.
The B5TL can also be customised with a bespoke MCV body option.
Go with the flow
Capacity is not only about the number of passengers. Other crucial
parameters are boarding and exit speed as well as the ability to follow
the traffic rhythm. The new driveline, featuring the compact new Volvo
D5K engine has been subjected to extensive testing on the road. In
combination with a new variant of the ZF Ecolife with a rightsized
torque converter, the B5TL has the performance you need to keep with
town and country road and traffic conditions while saving weight and
fuel.
