DEEZER RAISES MILLIONS TO KEEP PACE WITH SPOTIFY

The French music streaming platform Deezer will be able to continue to compete with Spotify and Apple.
Led by its main shareholders, Access Industries and Orange, the company has completed a new round of 100 million
euros.
This round comes three months after the cancelled introduction to the Paris stock exchange, which aimed to provide
300 million euros to the company, valued 1 billion euros.
Deezer is still way behind Swedish Spotify, having more than 20 million paying users.

Recent facts about Deezer:

Present in 180 countries
Accounts 40 million shares.
6.3 million subscribers (though only 3 million are actually active)
The group is still not profitable

NEW POSSIBILITIES FOR FRENCH START-UPS

The crowdfunding site SmartAngels creates a partnership with the online bank Fortuneo
The aim is to increase the number of potential investors in start-up companies
Fortuneo wishes through this partnership to "offer innovative investment outlook" to its customers as well as strengthen
its presence in the FinTech sector.
SmartAngels oriented SMEs will be given investment opportunities
While stocks are still very low, the "crowdfunding," which allows individuals to directly finance small businesses or
private projects, is growing rapidly.
(In September, the barometer of participatory Funding France (FPF) announced that the "crowdfunding" had more than
doubled in France in the first half compared to the same period in 2014, with 133.2 million euros collected)

GLOBAL SALES RECORD FOR RENAULT

Renault reported this Monday, January 18th, new sales number that breaks their world record
Increase of 3.3% of worldwide sales in 2015
2.8 million registered cars and light trucks in the world
Third consecutive year of increase in sales

Thierry Koskas, commercial director of Renault, means that the increase will continue thanks to:
Development markets like India and China
Planned launch of 10 new models in 2016
In terms of models, Clio, became the best selling
car in the world, with 372,062 units sold
