El rbol Sefirtico.

The thirty-two paths of wisdom link the ten sephiroth, each of which has five di
visions. Thus the Cabbalah speaks of the fifty gates of intelligence or understa
nding, and these gates are attributed symbolically to the sephirah Binah. But in
order to open a gate we need a key, and according to initiatic science the true
key is self- knowledge. Initiates can know everything because they know themsel
ves.
The Sephirotic Tree is designed to teach neither astronomy nor cosmology. The tr
uth is that no one can say exactly what the universe is or how it was created. T
he Sephirotic Tree represents a systematic world-view that is mystical in nature
, and whose origins can be traced back thousands of years.

The teaching of the Cabbalah sees the universe as an integrated whole, of which
the Sephirotic Tree is the perfect expression. Within that whole, however, sever
al different regions can be distinguished.
A first division distinguishes four planes:
- The higher plane is Olam Atziluth, the world of emanations, and it comprises K
ether, Chokmah and Binah.
- Below this is Olam Briah, the world of creation, comprising Chesed, Geburah, a
nd Tiphareth.
- Below this again is Olam Yetzirah, the world of formation, comprising Netzach,
Hod, and Yesod.
- Finally, there is Olam Assiah, the world of action, formed by Malkuth alone.
Another way of dividing the Sephirotic Tree is based on the three pillars. This
division expresses the notion that the universe is governed by the two opposing
principles of masculine and feminine, attraction and repulsion, love and hate, m
ercy and severity, and that in order to be reconciled and work together in harmo
ny, they have to meet in the centre.
In the Sephirotic Tree, too, you will find an extraordinary variety of foods , for
it is a reflection of the whole universe. In it you will, of course, find religi
on and philosophy as well as genuine ethics; but it also contains the sciences a
nd the arts. It is up to you to learn to find your nourishment in it every day.

A Rose - a gift from Venus, Part 1/2

From my earliest years, I was attracted to roses and their perfume: I would brea
the them in and remain for a long time just looking at them Until, one day, I was
smelling a rose whose perfume was so powerful and intoxicating that I left my b
ody. I felt myself flying through space, where I discovered a world of light, be
auty, inspiration and joy. From that time, I did all I could to repeat that expe
rience.
Those who are driven by a powerful desire, spontaneously and instinctively find
the methods they need to achieve that goal. So it was that I felt that roses co
uld help me in my meditation exercises. I have no idea what distant past, what k
nowledge buried deep inside me, gave me this conviction. When I was preparing to
meditate, I chose a rose whose freshness, shape, colour and perfume would carry

me the furthest and the highest. I considered it a heaven-sent living being whi
ch was sacrificing itself to show me the path, and I asked it to teach me how to
obtain all the qualities it represented in the spiritual world.
Roses are beautiful on earth, but how much more beautiful they are on high, in t
he invisible world! For this being, which takes form down here, in reality lives
in the subtle regions. The contemplation of a rose, the intoxication I felt fro
m its scent, tore me away from the physical world. I then passed through the eth
eric plane, trying not to linger there, and continued without stopping through t
he astral and mental planes. And finally I arrived at the causal plane, where I
found the rose, the true rose, which is formed by the beings of Venus called the
Elohim, dwellers in the seventh sephirah, Netzach, on the cabbalistic Tree of L
ife.
Venus, Aphrodite
The Greek Goddess Aphrodite is associated with Venus
The rose is a gift that Venus gave to the earth. You will say, How can roses come
from the planet Venus? The atmospheric conditions there render all life quite i
mpossible! I know that, but in Initiatic Science the planets are not just the phy
sical material bodies that astronomy studies.
In Initiatic Science planets are thoroughfares, intermediaries between cosmic cu
rrents and the earth. Through the intermediary of the planets, the earth receive
s currents, influences, of which God himself is the source. That is why, since t
ime immemorial, qualities and virtues have been associated to the planets. All t
he planets are reservoirs of currents which travel through space and, according
to their nature, condense on earth in different containers.
Roses are the containers for the Venusian currents, the currents of love. When w
e draw close to them, we receive this love. Love is incarnate in roses; why negl
ect such a gift?...

----------A Rose - helps us discover true love, (Final 2/2)
-The rose is a gift that Venus gave to the earth.
Roses are the containers for the Venusian currents, the currents of love. When w
e draw close to them, we receive this love. Love is incarnate in roses; why negl
ect such a gift?...
Of course, on the surface a rose is nothing much, but in reality it has the powe
r to put us in contact with the world of Venus; even a single petal is impregnat
ed with its quintessence. In looking at a rose, loving it, we communicate our ma
gnetism to it, and it communicates something to us in return; it links us to the
beings that inhabit Venus s realm, who are more evolved than the inhabitants of e
arth.
It is simple, it is a principle of magic: a rose is not Venus, and despite its b
eauty and its perfume, we should not dwell on it alone but rather see it as an i
ntermediary between us and higher beings. It is these beings, through the rose,
who help us discover true love, beauty and grace.
roses rose+
We link with the essence of the spiritual world through earthly objects. When we

touch gold, which is imbued with the same vibrations as the sun, we communicate
with the spirit of the sun. When we smell or touch a rose, we make contact with
Venus, who gives us love, spiritual love, and our love becomes more poetic, pur
er, broader, more intense.
Oh, how many things I have learned whilst meditating with a rose! I linked to it
s spirit and talked to it as to a living being. I asked it to make my soul like
its soul, to imbue mine with its quintessence, so that my soul might become a fl
ower in God s garden and bring joy to the heavenly beings who like to visit the ea
rth. For these heavenly beings love to find flowers on their paths
pure and lumi
nous souls. They take care of them and protect them so that they become even mor
e beautiful.
It is difficult for me to put into words exactly what the sight of a rose awaken
s within me. I have the sensation of living with it, vibrating with it, and I am
nourished by something that comes down from the divine world. In appearance it
is quite small, but in me it is great, for it brings me so many things! It smile
s at me, and I too look at it with great love; I ask it to enter deep within me
to awaken other roses in my heart and soul, for it has that power.

like to give this advice to future mothers: during your preg

time look for roses, or even just one, and meditate beside t
influence the child you are carrying. The spirits of roses a
agreed to incarnate here on earth to help people, and with w
your request!

A rose is silent, and yet so eloquent! Through its emanations, it never stops se
nding us this message: turn towards the sun and become like me. If we could meas
ure the wavelengths that it emits, we would be amazed at the efforts it makes to
influence us. The rose still remains such a mystery! Its colour is that of spir
itual love, its shape the expression of perfect harmony, its scent, that of puri
ty. Why not look at roses to discover the pathway to true love, a love that does
not bind, a love that liberates?
By simply touching one petal, we can link ourselves to those beings that agreed
to be embodied in the rose so that they could inspire us and open unimaginable h
orizons for us. For those with an enlightened consciousness, a simple rose petal
becomes the springboard for the greatest spiritual realizations. Whereas, witho
ut awareness, we pass by the most precious gifts, and become impoverished.
